Liana Tomowich is an ordained wedding officiant serving those celebrating their love in Calgary, Alberta and surrounding area.
In fact, there's probably very few places she will not travel to, to be a part of such a special event as a couple's wedding day. She's travelled to Banff, Lake Louise, Canmore, Castle Rock Mountain and good old DT Calgary....just to name a few 😊
This experienced and passionate officiant welcomes to-be-weds from all walks of life to the altar with ceremonies that are personal and memorable.
She can help create whatever kind of ceremony couples wish for, whether a large traditional-style gathering in a cathedral or an intimate elopement on the beach or in their home.
As an open, warm and witty professional, she can officiate religious and non-denominational events alike.

Authentic, energetic, & loving Liana Tomowich!
My spouse and I have both had the privilege of knowing Liana through her amazing wellness centre work in Calgary. We were honoured to have her conduct our ceremony at Crestmont Hall. Liana spent time with us virtually to go over what we envisioned for the ceremony and what we wanted to include. She was always prompt, detailed, and professional with her communication. Liana had infused the perfect amount of humour with readings that matched who we are as a couple. She did this with authentic, energetic, and loving energy. All our guests were blown away by her presence. The ceremony started late, with some problem solving moments, that were taken by Liana with grace and patience. Thank you Liana, for making our day that much more special.

Liana was a joy to work with—warm, patient, and always on time. She balanced humor with heartfelt moments, making our ceremony both fun and touching. Liana is THE BEST ❤️
We couldn't have asked for a better officiant than Liana! She was responsive and professional but also super kind and caring, making our ceremony feel so personal. Despite the rain, Liana stayed calm and flexible, even suggesting we sign the documents indoors to keep them safe. She really helped ease our nerves when the weather got stressful, and her guidance made everything run smoothly. Thanks to her, our wedding at Viewpoint #5 in Kananaskis, Alberta turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined!

Excellent service
I am delighted with our experience with Liana. She was very responsive in our communications and helped us write our own vows. It was drizzling at our wedding, so Liana added a portion to her speech explaining the good luck associated with rain on a wedding day. It made what might have been a negative part of the wedding into a positive. I would recommend her to any couple looking for an officiant.

Best day ever!!!
We had such a fabulous experience with Liana from start to finish.
Her communication was excellent and from the rehearsal to the day of the ceremony she made every moment low stress and embraced our wedding parties sense of humour.
The ceremony was flawless and perfectly written with many personal annotations just for us.

Such a wonderful officiant!

Absolutely incredible
Liana was absolutely wonderful and super accommodating to our last minute, intimate outdoor wedding. She was open to all of our suggestions for location and made the process super simple. Her words took us by surprise and we did not expect it to be as beautiful as it was with such a limited time limit, she brought tears to everyone's eyes it was just a gorgeous ceremony and we cannot recommend her enough. Beautiful human inside and out and was an absolute pleasure to meet you and have you there for our special day.

Couldn't have asked for a better officiant!
Liana did an amazing job at our wedding. So proffesional and informative. She explained everything and spoke beautifully at our ceremony. She also handled a screaming toddler and chatty guests very well.

Excellent officiant!!
Liana was professional, funny, and made us feel very comfortable during rehearsals and our big day. It is evident that she's been officiating for a long time. She was very flexible and accommodating to changes and was quick to respond to emails. Definitely would recommend her to friends and family!

" I have been involved with weddings since I was 7 years old: from Flower Girl, Bridesmaid, Maid Of Honour, Wedding Co-ordinator, Bride, performed Friend Ceremonies, Mother of the Bride, Entertainer and finally an Officiant.
I have always loved weddings and what they represent....the union and celebration of love between two people. The intention and anticipation of the day, is always a happy one! This is what I enjoy being a part of, as an Officiant.
I work closely with each couple, as much as they need or want, to make their wedding ceremony an intimate and memorable one.
