  Beautiful but Disappointing

  We were thrilled to choose the Black Barn for our wedding. Having heard fantastic reviews, our initial tour only confirmed it – the venue is stunning. It’s evident that the family has invested tremendous effort into the landscape and design. It truly serves as a perfect all-in-one location for both the ceremony and reception. Additionally, unlike many other venues, there are no mandatory vendors or associated fees.
  However, we encountered challenges in planning as various individuals were responsible for different aspects of our wedding. Moreover, our contract lacked clarity regarding the services provided and omitted, and our rehearsal dinner timeline was changed three times.
  We also received feedback from several guests, vendors, family members, and our wedding party about the staff's rudeness and short tempers. One notable incident involved my brother accidentally bumping into a bartender, who responded with, “Be careful, you drunk!” Please keep in mind that my brother has been sober for five years.
  When the owner inquired about our day, I tried to express our concerns, but I felt that our conversation was met with defensiveness and dismissal. After reflecting on this interaction, I decided to share this review.
  Overall, while the Black Barn is a beautiful venue and we found some staff to be professional, the treatment of our guests and family did not meet our expectations.
  I hope this experience at the Black Barn can be viewed as an “off” day, and I sincerely wish they become more receptive to the feedback from those they serve in the future.

  Most perfect day :)

  My wedding day really could not have gone any smoother and if there were any issues— I did not know about them. For that alone, I am so grateful to Aaron who we hired as the day-of coordinator. Aaron was organized, insightful, and did such a good job at telling me where I needed to be, what I should be doing, etc as we were going through the day’s timeline. Aaron, thank you so so much for all of your help.
  
  The venue itself is worth every penny— it’s just absolutely beautiful and they have added some new additions to the grounds- including a gas fireplace which was greatly appreciated by my guests as it was a cold/windy day but we were still able to enjoy the outdoors with all of the gas fireplaces that were available.
  
  Truly such a wonderful experience and i’m so happy to be able to look back on my wedding day with nothing but positive energy and love for how wonderful it was.

  Wedding of my dreams

  Everyone at blackbarn is amazing highly recommended you will not be disappointed. They were very helpful and made me feel at ease. Everyone who attended the wedding said it was the best wedding they ever been to. Dream come true! Aaron Madeleine and Annalise are amazing!

  Wedding of My Dreams!!

  The team at Black Barn truly helped me create and carry out the wedding of my dreams. Between the complementary hours of planning with their team to the day-of coordinating services that I quite happily paid for. I couldn't imagine a better wedding day! They went the extra mile to create a day I will be thinking about for the rest of my life. I adored every moment of my wedding day and cannot rave about this venue enough!

  Beautiful Venue

  We got married here August 3 2024 and it was perfect! The venue is beautiful, the service is phenomenal! I literally just showed up, got ready and got married - so stress free!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking! Don’t forget to ask for Aaron’s day of services, he literally made my day so easy!

  The Van Akens EST. 2024

  We went for a tour at the Black Barn Wedding Venue last year, and it was one of the easiest yes's we ever had made! If you're looking for a rustic, but elegant and simply beautiful venue to marry the love of your life, than look no further! The views are breathtaking if you are wanting to be out somewhere in the country, and the upkeep of the outside of the building makes getting married here that much better! Madeline, Aaron, Olivia, and the rest of the BB team are super easy, and fun to work with. They really bring your vision to life, and support you from day one. It's safe to say that we where super sad to leave this beautiful venue, but the memories we have at this place are ones we will cherish, and remember, forever! Thanks team, you all were simply KICKASS AMAZING!

  Amazing Experience!

  We had a phenomenal experience at Black Barn! Everything ran so smoothly (huge shoutout to Aaron, the day of coordinator for making this possible) and the venue itself was absolutely gorgeous.
  One thing that sets Black Barn apart is that there were separate getting ready areas for the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
  
  Thank you Black Barn staff!!

  Book with Black Barn!!!

  Obsessed with this venue and everyone there! Madelaine was fabulous and so welcoming. And Aaron (day of coordinator) is an absolute must if you want your day to be flawless. The bar tending staff was extremely helpful and kind. All around a stellar experience and I cannot recommend them enough!

  The Barn was our dream place to host our wedding!

  The Black Barn is as an absolutely stunning venue. We could have chose a better place. It was the first place we actually looked at and knew it was the place when we first seen it. The Black Barn was very professional with hosting our day.
  
  We did have a couple of issues. We had submitted a timeline to the Black Barn and thought they'd honor it. We had photos planned with each table of guests to be done but our photographer wanted us to run out for the sunset photos. While we we gone for some Unknown reason Black Barn took half the tables down and kicked people out of their seats. We still had another hour before our dances started and we wanted those guest photos at their tables. My new Wife didn't even get to try the dessert! Also we had certain drinks on our drink menu and the Black Barn bartenders said they couldn't make the drink, without orange juice. Even though the orange Juice was in the fridge.
  
  All in all those are minor setbacks that we found annoying. However it didn't ruin our beautiful day at such a beautiful venue. Aside from those hiccups Black Barn really went above and beyond for making our day special.
