Welcome, to our enchanted event venue, nestled on a private 28-acre farm, lovingly owned by James and Rhonalyn Carpenter.
Our commitment to longevity ensures that every event is not just a fleeting experience, but a cherished memory that lasts a lifetime. With a foundation built on loyalty, we pride ourselves on creating personalized experiences that reflect the unique vision of each guest.
Located 45 minutes from both Red Deer and Calgary, we are the perfect central location for you and your guests. Our property is covered in sunflowers, luscious trees, berry bushes, and we can't forget our llamas and donkeys.
Cork & Crate Estates has two specialized venues:
The first, is our Tea House - perfect for the micro-wedding consisting of 40 guests or less. This space is available for booking Sunday through Friday and includes a fully catered brunch. It's also perfect for a Bridal Shower!
The second, is our feature property The Vine House - perfect for those larger celebrations consisting of a maximum of 200 guests. This space is available for rental at all times and we offer a one day or two day package.

Services Offered
Cork & Crate Estates offers a number of services to help facilitate your special day.
Our team is always growing and consists of the following:
• Set Up & Take Down Crew - our team sets up all tables + chairs for the ceremony + reception.
• Month of Coordinator - let our team help you finalize all the details of your special day and be the main point of contact between you and your vendors the day of.
• In-House Decorator - let our team help you with the design and decorating of your event.
• In-House Bartenders - let our team serve the drinks at both our indoor and outdoor bar.
We also provide a List of Preferred Vendors that we love to work with. This list includes Photographers/Videographers, Caterer's, Cake Design, DJ Services, Makeup Artists and more.

Perfect all day venue
The owners went above and beyond!
The owners James and Rhonalyn were truly amazing. The tables and chairs were already set up for us when we arrived, and they were there helping us set up and clean up the entire time. They really went out of their way to make sure all of our requests were accommodated. You can tell that this is not just a business for them, they really care and want you to have the most magical day. They even took the time to meet our families and made sure that everyone was comfortable.
They also give you the venue for the entire weekend. We were able to do our rehearsal there the day before, and we were able to come back the day after to clean up. It really makes the whole experience stress-free.
I could not have chosen a better place to create the best memories. Highly recommend!!!
Incredible Venue!
At the time, the Vine House actually had not been built yet. The venue owners, James and Rhonalyn sold us on their vision for the event space and we decided to proceed based upon their enthusiasm.
We are so glad we bought into their vision, as the venue is truly phenomenal and more than what we had expected.
So many of our guests commented positively about how beautiful and elegant the entire property is. They loved the atmosphere, and the ample space to explore beyond just the building itself.
Throughout the process we could tell how committed and determined both James and Rhonalyn were to making the vision for our wedding a reality.

The venue boasts stunning, Instagram-worthy scenery at every turn, which our guests, particularly the kids, thoroughly enjoyed along with the onsite activities, such as zipline and hammocks, and adorable animals.
We couldn’t say enough good things about the owners Rhonalyn & James Carpenter. Not only are they accommodating but are always open to offering us a helping hand.
Our Christian wedding at Cork and Crate was a blessing in more ways than one. In addition to a beautiful and tranquil venue, we gained new friends through their exceptional hospitality.

Hi, my name is Brenna. I joined the Cork & Crate team in August of 2024. I'm a certified Wedding Planner with 15+ experience within the industry.
I used to own my own Bridal Business, Bridals by Brenna where I provided couples with everything from Planning, Coordinating, Decorating, Invitation Design, and Rentals.
My passion for creating unforgettable moments aligns perfectly with Cork & Crate's mission to create personalized experiences that reflect the unique vision of each guest.
I will ensure that every couple experiences the beauty and joy our venue has to offer.

We are a husband and wife team!! James is the visionary & dreamer of the spaces you will visit and love! Rhonalyn is the hostess and behind the scenes administration. We both work hard to keep our place stunning and are adding new things all the time to make it better and better!
