Dolan Creek Farm is home to expansive views of Mount Ida and the cliffs of the Fly Hills, a bright, airy post-and-beam barn, and lush pastures featuring the winding creek that gives the farm its name. Facilities and capacity

On the Fly Hills above the farm, the top of the property provides a picturesque lookout with panoramic views of the area including Shuswap Lake and beyond. With this idyllic setting, Dolan Creek Farm is perfect for a variety of events - from weddings to private parties or anything you wish to celebrate or showcase.

The Barn

Built in 1973, their post-and-beam barn is bright, open, and airy, with exposed rafters and beautifully aged lumber. With a 30x60 foot main space and two 15x60 foot side bays, their barn provides ample space for creating and enjoying your event. Elegantly draped globe string lights provide the perfect sparkle, while their vintage pendant lights give the barn a rustic yet polished feel. Additional details include oak wine barrels and wrought iron hooks to help feature your event decor. A 16x20 foot dance floor completes the scene and is waiting and ready for the party to start.

The Pasture

Standing in their pasture, amid the grasses and wild sage, you will be greeted with views of Mount Ida and the cliffs of the Fly Hills. Dolan Creek, which gives their farm its name, winds its way through the pasture on its way to the Salmon River that travels along the edge of the farm. Their fields provide versatile options for the various stages of your event - from a wedding ceremony to photographs to taking a pause to enjoy the calm of the space.

The Lookout

Perched above the barn and pastures, high up on the Fly Hills, is the topmost section of the property. Less than a 15 minute drive from the farm, the lookout is an incredible spot to view the features of Salmon Arm and a one-of-a-kind setting for your bridal party photographs. With more than 180 degrees of views of the Shuswap area, sites that are visible include Mount Ida and the Salmon River Valley and Shuswap Lake with the mountain ranges of Revelstoke in the distance. Their lookout is also available as a ceremony site.
