Situated near Sooke, British Columbia, East Meets West is a charming venue for an unique island wedding celebration. The picturesque property, set amidst beautiful rolling hills and white fences, features a handsome former four stall horse barn, and a magnificent three bedroom, fully-renovated B&B which showcases stunning Asian art, furniture and furnishings that were collected by the proprietors over 29 years of living in Asia.

Facilities and capacity

A lovely wedding ceremony can take place at various outdoor locations on the beautiful property, including the deck attached to the farm cottage, or inside the cottage for intimate occasions. The cottage and the deck are ideal for smaller celebrations while the other outdoor locations are flexible in the size of event they can accommodate.

The country style barn is ideally set up for wedding receptions and can host up to 80 guests for sit-down meals. The inside of the barn has side partitions for buffet tables, dancing and more. The stunning space features decorative overhead lighting and invites additional decorations tailored to the couple's taste.

Services offered

East Meets West offers a truly unique wedding package that consists of hosting the wedding ceremony, the reception in the barn and full use of the tasteful farm cottage for three days/nights. The use of the cottage includes:

• Accommodation for six family members and friends for three nights with delicious full breakfasts
• Use of the cottage for pre-wedding gatherings, e.g. family reunions, parties and dinners
• Use of the bedrooms as changing rooms on the day-of and use of two fully equipped kitchens for catering support
• A four-course gourmet dinner for six, on one of the evenings before the big day (complimentary)

This fantastic package does not include services such as catering, bar, set up, clean up and event insurance.
