Our wedding was more than a celebration, it was a magical experience.
We cannot thank Thom from Fermanagh Farm’s enough for all his patience, kindness and help throughout the entire planning process and especially the attentiveness on the day of our wedding.
Wedding planning is not easy, and it is stressful to begin with– from before Covid to the new everyday unknown challenges, the obstacles we are faced today are now more intensified than ever before.
With all the uncertainty we have been faced over the year, this was also the case for our wedding.
Originally, our wedding was booked at an indoor venue in Toronto, something we had booked over a year in advance – because who would have ever predicted in 2021, we would still be in a lockdown.
I never imagined myself having an outdoor wedding, let alone a wedding at a “farm” …
Less than 3 months ago, April 12th, 2021 (to be precise), was the day I connected with Thom at Fermanagh Farms. My fiancée and I had a “aha” moment and realized, if we wanted to celebrate with anyone, outdoor was the way to go, but the question was where?
With such short notice, Thom was always prompt and attentive whenever I had asked him for anything. Before leaving my deposit to the day of, he was always working hard to make sure our day was magical.
My wedding would have not been the same without Thom and his stunning property. The entire ambience was way more than I could have ever imagined…
The property and entire grounds at Fermanagh Farms have so much history, beauty and energy attached to it to make it far beyond a fairy-tale wedding. All my guests had the best time too and every single person mentioned how SUPER CLEAN everything was the entire time! Everyone also felt safe and comfortable with the venue's safety protocols. Great job everyone!
If we had the choice to do it all over again, in a “perfect, covid-free world”, we would choose Fermanagh Farms over and over again without question.
I feel that everything happens for a reason, nothing ever happens to us, only for us. We were meant to have the wedding of our dreams here and are super grateful.
This property is so well-kept and what I loved most about it all, was that even when the best day of my life was “over”, I was even more thrilled to have the opportunity to stay in an incredible bridal suite with my stepsons, family, and friends.
The cabin rooms are stunning, and the beds are super comfy! Felt like we were at a 10-star resort! My 7 yr olds also want there next birthday party here! My grandparents, 87 yr old, also had the time of their life. It really is so perfect for everyone.
If you are anything like me who never thought to do anything outdoor, sometimes when you do things without knowing the outcome are the absolute best.
Thom will make sure you have everything you need and more!!

Had our beautiful fall wedding at their barn and it was a dream. Location very private, lots of different locations to choose for ceremony and photos. Communication could have been better, Coordinator hired by them said she'd take over as contract point 60 days before the wedding, realistically I felt she was only involved 10 days ahead of time, but I understand it's a busy season. Some details got missed, but we had too much of a good time to really care. -

We had our wedding here in August 30th. The venue was absolutely stunning and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thom is the owner and he was always available to talk with when we need help. Amanda did an amazing job with the wedding coordination and helped make the day stress free! Also great having the multiple places to get ready in & to be able to stay in the cabin that night. 1000% would highly recommend! -

Our special day was more then we could ever have dreamed of! The team at Fermanagh Farm went above and beyond for our us with quick turn around extremely accommodating and supportive staff. Thom, Jana, Amanda and the rest of the team helped bring our vision to life. The property is gorgeous with many different options for an outdoor ceremony to support your vision. Photo opportunities are a dream for picture perfect photography. The barn is rustic and beautiful with vintage chandeliers and it has indoor plumbing and washrooms. The cabin and suites for the bridal parties to get ready in are modern and beautiful. In-house bartender was the life of the party and my guest couldn’t get enough! I honestly can not say enough to justify the joy and sense of ease we experienced here. Highly recommend Fermanagh Farm to any couple!Fermanagh Farms's reply:

Our wedding day at Fermanagh Farms was incredible. We were lucky to have the peak fall colours, and from our first look in the forested area to the ceremony to the golden hour photos, it could not have been more picturesque. It’s a stunning property and the barn, where we had our reception, is super charming and clean. Factoring in the dance floor area, the barn was a great amount of space for our guest count of just over 100 (13 tables).
With any venue, costs definitely add up as you figure out all the different components, but Fermanagh Farms staff understood that we were budget-conscious and helped us navigate that throughout the process. We chose to arrange a lot of the elements ourselves (food, DJ, decor, photography) — part of what drew us to this venue was that it allowed flexibility in these areas (venue policies at the time really worked with our needs but may have changed since). We did opt for the day-of coordination service, meaning we worked with Amanda in the lead-up to figure out the rentals and the flow of the day, and she was on-site for most of the event. With Amanda present, so many things got done without us or our closest people having to think about them. She brought all the elements together smoothly, coordinated with our vendors in the weeks leading up, and was reassuring when we voiced any concerns. Because we brought outside food and purchased our own alcohol and permit, the venue coordinated both the service and bar staff for us (service staff were Fermanagh Farms staff, but the bar staff were from an external vendor). They were all great and took care of everything very efficiently.
Having access to the three accommodations on the property was such a weight off our shoulders. It allowed us both to have the (major) convenience of getting ready on-site, and it meant that we and a few of our friends who were helping with setup and teardown had a place to stay for the night. The bridal cottage where we stayed is absolutely gorgeous (although we did have to check out kind of early so the room could be turned over for the next day’s bridal party).
All in all, we were so happy with how our wedding turned out. We are really thankful to the Fermanagh Farms team for everything they did to make our wedding such a success! -

When my husband (then fiancé) and I had first arrived at Fermanagh Farms, we we’re actually not expecting to use this venue. We are a young couple, which means a tight budget and did not think that we would be able to afford the venue. However, when we met with Thom, he worked with us and was able to get what we wanted in the budget that we had. We loved that this venue was an ‘all in one’ place where we could have our ceremony, our pictures, and our reception all at the one place and it was also already so beautiful that we didn’t have to go overboard with decorations!
I worked with Amanda, their coordinator, for a few months and she made the process very easy. She was extremely organized and took note of all the moving parts we had during the day. She made sure everything was looked after and that nothing was missing.
I absolutely loved the having our wedding at Fermanagh Farms. Both my bridal party and the groomsman party were able to get ready in their own cabins on the site and none of our guests had to travel between the ceremony to the reception! Our guests loved the barn and I was told afterwards how all the ladies LOVED the bathrooms! Nothing like a country wedding with nice bathrooms that are located in the reception, especially if it rains in the evening! The rustic country wedding truly came to life using Fermanagh Farms! -

An amazing venue
We went into this wedding planning process feeling very overwhelmed with all that we needed to do. The team at Fermanagh Farms made the entire process so much easier and stress free! From the beautiful venue, to taking care of all set up and tear down, from all of their incredible preferred vendors, and the amazing help from day of coordinator Amanda. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and would highly recommend Fermanagh Farms to anyone looking for a wedding venue! -

We planned this wedding entirely ourselves and it was such a daunting task, especially at a venue with so much customization. But it turned out to be the perfect way to achieve our dreams. The owner and staff were so relaxed and easy to work with.
The venue was so beautiful that we needed minimal decor. The grounds are immaculate. Having the option to stay on site was also so much fun and relieving. There were pleasant surprises around every corner, and all of our guests commented on how wonderful and unique our venue was! -

This venue is gorgeous - they helped make our day exactly what we wanted. Lovely accommodations equipped with everything you could possibly need. Jana was awesome, and worked to accommodate an indoor wedding when it began to rain. You won't be disappointed! -

Beautiful venue, made our dream reception come true!
We had such a wonderful experience with Fermanagh Farms! From the beginning, they were very upfront about the planning process, even having an online cost estimator so we had a cost ballpark before we even visited. There were no surprise costs along the way, and the whole team was so helpful throughout our planning. Thom and Lisa were flexible and accommodated multiple visits for us to see the farm, Amanda was always prompt and thorough in answering our many emails and questions, and Jana (our on site coordinator that day) was so organized and efficient and made the evening run so smoothly. The venue is so beautiful, all of our guests loved the vibe and cozy feel. Fermanagh Farms also very flexible with vendors, so we were able to mix and match with different vendors to get the food, desserts, and catering style that fit our crowd the best. We were even gifted a personalized cutting board made from wood from the property as a special memento - this was such a lovely, personal touch. Would absolutely recommend this venue to everyone, you will not regret it! -
