On the Ridge Events is the most beautiful venue nestled in the pines of Sunderland. The airy, beautifully lit, tin barn is the perfect modern rustic venue for any event. At our wedding, on July 29th 2023, the tall pines provided the most gorgeous natural backdrop for our outdoor ceremony. The charming barn comfortably fit 110 guests for a seated meal before the tables were pushed to the side to make space for a large dance floor. The outdoor patio also provided the perfect, intimate-feeling, space for our first dances. The property boasts many locations for ceremonies and pictures, on trails meandering through the pines, in open fields, and down beneath the whimsical willows by the pond.
Though this venue is truly breathtaking, it is the people behind the scenes that really sets it apart from the rest. The owners, Crystal and Jeremy Mank, are the kindest, most genuine people you will ever meet. From the moment we met while touring the property, they were accommodating and flexible, offering many additional items such as tables, various decor, and lawn games for us to use at no extra cost. Throughout our entire planning process, Crystal and Jeremy were available at a moment’s notice to answer any and all questions and offer support. In countless instances they went out of their way to ensure our day, and the lead up to our day, went as smoothly as possible. They were available to meet with vendors for site visits, receive vendor drop offs, and so much more. It is with utmost sincerity that we can confidently say that our day would not have been the same without them. We will be recommending On The Ridge Events to anyone we know looking for an event space.
We left Crystal and Jeremy’s place wanting to be friends with them and we can’t wait to support their future endeavours.

While wanting to keep our wedding local, we met with Crystal & Jeremy last summer to see their venue and couldn't be more pleased! Their welcoming, relaxed vibes are exactly who we want to work with for our big day. Their place offers a variety of settings for photo opportunities and we just can't wait to host our family and friends at their venue!

Not a single person stepped foot on this property without commenting on how spectacular it is. Some even saying that it provided a nice Muckoka feel without the long drive.

This venue was the perfect place for our September wedding. We had the best experience with Crystal and Jeremy, they truly go above and beyond with consistent communication, support, and positivity. We were able to set up 3 days before our big day which was a huge blessing. We 100% recommend this venue for your event.

From the moment we came to view On the Ridge Events in September of 2022, our vision and dream for our wedding began to take form with the beautiful tin barn and the surrounding grounds as our inspiration. This July (2023) our vision came to life in the most beautiful way, although it rained most of our wedding day we still very much enjoyed ourselves. The property boasts many beautiful backdrops for photos and although our first looks were in the rain the canopy of trees helped to protect us from the worst of the rain.

The tin barn had so many small improvements from the time we first saw it until our wedding day and is the perfect place to host a wedding. We had 175 guests for a seated dinner and still had ample space for a fun dance floor post dinner. All our guests loved the space and the property.

One of the best things about this venue other than its sheer beauty is the owners Crystal and Jeremy. They made the DIY wedding process a little easier by always providing support, answering emails in a timely fashion and being our cheerleaders throughout the process. They were extremely helpful in allowing us to borrow some of their décor items, lawn games and also just being available to meet with vendors and accept deliveries of rentals when we couldn’t be there to accept them ourselves. Crystal and Jeremy also helped make our outdoor ceremony dream come true by helping in the final minutes to move the ceremony back outside when it looked like the rain had stopped for just long enough to make that vision a reality.
