Rimbey Riverside Retreat is a beautiful country wedding venue with a heated banquet hall, located five minutes north of Rimbey, Alberta.

This 23 acre property with private camping and guest cabins would be the perfect destination for a private weekend wedding.

The venue has many features included in your wedding packages. We also have a few extra options that can be added to your package to make your day more memorable and convenient.

The hall is 90x42', featuring a 10' overhang for extra space. Built into the hall are five sunshine doors. Four sunshine doors face the pond, and one larger door faces the ceremony area. On one side of the hall is the outdoor self-serve granary bar for your guests after the ceremony, and on the other side is the ceremony site. The ceremony site is a large green space surrounded by willows with ample space for up to 180 people. We supply an arch, signing table, décor, and wooden seating benches for you.

There is also camping available for those who are interested in a weekend package. We have fully servied sites, powered sites, and extra un-servied sites for up to 28 trailors. If you are wanting to use air conditioning in your trailor you will need a generator. The sites offer basic power.

This venue also offers the unique feature of winter weddings.

The Find Your Wild Women’s Retreat

We used the Rimbey Riverside Retreat Venue for our annual women’s retreat in August. Everything about our experience with them exceeded our expectations. The venue is set up so well and it was amazing to have the cabin and camping options. Having full bathrooms spread around the property was such a perk! Our attendees loved everything about the property and so did we. It was so easy to work with the management team and we 100% recommend this venue. It would be absolutely perfect for any wedding!

Beautiful Venue !!!

We’re a few days away from our wedding, and we had to share how amazing Rimbey Riverside Retreat has been! The venue is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views that we can’t wait to see on our big day.

The staff here are fantastic—super friendly and helpful, making the whole planning process a breeze. We loved having so many décor options to choose from, which really helped us personalize our wedding.

Plus, the price was great for what’s included: on-site bartenders, guest cabins, and even camping spots. It’s been perfect for what we wanted, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!

Can't say enough good things about this venue !!

We’re just two days away from our wedding at the Rimbey Riverside Retreat, and we’re already thrilled with our choice of venue! From our initial visit, it was clear that this place was something special. The venue's charm and the range of amenities included in the package have made planning our big day so much easier and more enjoyable.

We’re also thrilled about the beautiful cabins on-site and the ample space available for our guests who are bringing campers. Plus, having the venue take care of setting up and taking down all the decor has been a huge relief. It’s clear that Duncan and his crew have thought of everything to make our big day as perfect as possible..

The management team at the Rimbey Riverside Retreat has been incredibly supportive and accommodating throughout the planning process. Their kindness and professionalism have made this journey smoother and more pleasant.

Beautiful venue and great people to work with

The venue is absolutely beautiful and they put a lot of work into all the buildings on site. They were great to work with and were very accommodating. They provided a lot of the decor and set up and took down everything we picked out. The cabins on-site were super great to have and were a great place for the wedding party to stay. They really helped make our day perfect.

The most INCREDIBLE wedding venue

This was easily the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning journey! This venue not only wowed us, & our family but we had compliments all day and evening from guests on how gorgeous this venue was. SO many bonus's to booking here. The tables & chairs are included. They have decor included, bartenders included and many many more things that you won't find anywhere else around the area. We were able to set up Friday and take down on Sunday. I HIGHLY recommend doing this, nothing around your wedding day should feel rushed. Not only was the venue amazing, the accommodations offered and the decor but the management was incredible as well. Kind hearted people that were super easy to work with! We are SO incredibly happy that we got married at the Rimbey Riverside Retreat.

Beautiful, rustic venue

This was such a beautiful venue with several options for places to hang out during the reception and photos. Duncan was very quick to respond to all our questions and very accommodating to all our requests. They set up and took everything down for us. We loved the day and would highly recommend Rimbey Riverside Retreat for your special day.

Get married at Rimbey Riverside Retreat

My daughter and son -in-law, were married at Rimbey Riverside Retreat. Everything about this venue is outstanding. They are so accommodating and helpful. The word beautiful is not significant enough to describe this location and venue. Breath taking perhaps, there is a beautiful area for the wedding, you will get amazing pictures as it is north facing. The banquet hall is so beautiful, clean and set up so well. Tables and chairs and some décor are provided, they also provide bartenders. The parent cabins are equipped with a full-size refrigerator, if need be, you can bring food and drinks for the weekend. All of the bathrooms are clean and well-lite. You have to check Rimbey Riverside Retreat out, will not be disappointed this venue has it all. For reference the wedding was in September.
