My husband and I got married at Riverview Estate in September of 2024. We stayed at the venue for 3 nights including our wedding day. It was a beautiful day and the venue worked out for us exactly as we had envisioned. We had the ceremony on the wedding pavilion during a morning rainshower, followed by cocktail hour for our guests at the pool. We did our wedding photos on the lawn and on the bridge over the river with the natural forest backdrop. We had our speeches outside around the pool deck and then we went inside the reception hall for our seated dinner reception. We set up our buffet dinner, dessert spread and coffee station in the glass house next to the reception hall. We had a portrait artist sketch our guests in the living room. After dinner we cleared half of the tables in the reception hall for a dance floor and danced all night!
We used long tables to seat 68 guests and 12 times 6- person round tables to seat up to 72 more. That is the maximum that can sit in the reception hall. This venue worked for us but it did require a lot of work on our part. We had to rent every table, chair, plate, water glass, wine glass, coffee mug, fork and knife. We had to hire every bartender, server, busser and vendor. You can use this venue to plan the wedding of your dreams but you will have to plan and provide every piece of it. I strongly recommend getting a wedding planner which I did not do myself.
