Facilities and Capacity
Stonefields Estate offers indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate anywhere between 100 and 220 guests. They are also happy to host intimate celebrations. Your wedding day experience begins as you prepare and celebrate with your wedding party in the historic farmhouse and the Badchild Pub, the venue’s separate get-ready spaces. You can choose to hold your ceremony outdoors in front of the stone farmhouse or indoors in the Ceremony House where seating is provided. A cocktail hour can be held on the terrace and covered verandah, and dinner can take place in the reception building furnished with guest tables, chairs, linens, antique display tables, a podium, and votive candles. Each event space is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system to accommodate entertainment. Your experience is capped off with an overnight stay for up to eight guests in the historic farmhouse.

Not only were they helpful, they were quick to get back to us whenever we had questions, extremely organized and just all around a lovely group of people to work with.

They are organized and have this down to a science. If you’re like us we have a toddler and needed a one stop shop.
You will never go wrong with a wedding at Stonefields, they have a stunning venue (which you hardly need to decorate yourself at all, you could literally just show up that’s how beautiful it is), amazing food and service. My friends and family rave about it.

The Best Day!
The venue is beyond gorgeous! We fell in love with it the moment we saw it. We got married in the Ceremony House and it was perfect since it was a cold and rainy day. Cocktail Hour was scheduled to be outside but because of the weather was moved indoors in the Loft. The food was amazing! I had so many guests tell us how great of a meal it was. We opted to add-on a pasta course which we had not tasted in our tasting but was delicious! The bartenders were great with guests asking for drinks and made sure everyone was happy with what they ordered. The most impressive thing about Stonefields is how I did not have to think about anything. Steve, Stephanie and his team ran the day so smoothly! Everything was on time, everyone at a table got their meal at the same time regardless of the meal they chose - it was amazing! We dealt with Kylie leading up to the wedding and she really does it all! Any question I had, she would respond within 24 hours! You end up spending more but the quality you get is worth it!

Meet the team
A born hostess and country girl at heart, Stephanie brings rural elegance to every Stonefields event. She oversees planning of all weddings, drawing on decades of events experience.
When she’s not working an event, Stephanie uses her corporate background, communications degree and flair for design to expand and evolve the estate.
Now retired from the Canadian Armed Forces, Steve executes events with military precision. He takes huge pride in his team and enjoys nurturing their talents.
Steve attends most of our weddings, providing steadfast management and ensuring a seamless service. He uses these opportunities to explore how we can take the Stonefields experience to the next level.
After graduating from Carleton University, Kylie became an indispensable member of the Stonefields team in 2013. Her reassuring approach and attention to detail make her the perfect ‘pre-event manager.’
Kylie is our right hand. She walks couples through the process of planning their wedding. She also collects the details we need to give the team their marching orders on the big day.
