The Farmstead is a beautiful, unique and picturesque setting for your wedding or special event located in Laurentian Valley Township, nestled just outside the hustle and bustle of the city of Pembroke. You and your guests will enjoy the rustic and romantic beauty of the farm, while it serves as a beautiful natural backdrop for your wedding day photos. The 6 acres of rich mosaic plant life, gorgeous landscapes, architecturally inspiring, 160 year old historic limestone home, and many rustic barns and outbuildings will add to the charm of your special day.
Our recently converted Stable Barn serves as a cozy and intimate area to host your dinner and reception. It is climate controlled for the utmost comfort for you and your guests, and features a fully staffed, liquor licenced bar.
Our experienced and certified wedding co-ordinator and ever-present venue owners will ensure everything runs smoothly for your event.

Facilities and Capacity
For your wedding or special event at The Farmstead, you and your guests will have exclusive access to our beautiful 6 acre property, which will be meticulously maintained and landscaped for your special day.
The venue rental fee also includes all furniture items for your wedding day. We also do all the heavy lifting by setting up the ceremony and reception space in your preferred layout. We offer various floor plan options and design a layout specific to your event and preferences. We also include an elegant selection of all required furniture for your event as well as a curated selection of decor items.

Our fully liquor sales licensed venue means that you don't have to worry about a thing when it comes to alcohol and bar service. We'll take care of everything, so you can focus on enjoying your big day. Our professional, experienced, and smart-serve certified bartenders and mixologists are here to serve you and your guests. Whether you're looking for a classic cocktail or local craft beer, we have you covered with a nice selection on our Bar Menu. We believe that every drink should be a visual masterpiece, which is why we serve all of our cocktails and beverages in only the finest glassware. Your guests will love our complimentary hydration station serving up punch and flavoured water combinations from on-farm ingredients. Optional bar package upgrades available to include table wine or open bar.
Our Stable Barn is most comfortably suited for up to 100 people, max 120 for a seated dinner.
You also receive our full attention, dedication and commitment to your special day, during the planning process and the event itself. We work the entire duration of your event, keeping the venue and grounds clean and maintained, collaborating with your vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly for your event.
Our experienced and certified wedding co-ordinator will assist at your rehearsal and ceremony. This includes cueing the wedding party during the processional, initiating your songs of choice for your ceremony. During your wedding or event planning, we are just a quick text or email away from any needed advice, recommendations, or assistance of any kind. You can always expect a prompt response, and we are available for an unlimited amount of scheduled site tours during your wedding planning process. We will work with you to make your day calm, comfortable, memorable and exactly how you envision it.

🌿 Meet the Hearts Behind The Farmstead: Francine & Jarred 💑
We're Jarred and Francine, the proud owners of The Farmstead, and we're so excited to kick off our ✨third wedding season✨with all of you!
OUR STORY:🏡 Our journey with this beautiful adventure started back in 2017 when we took ownership of our dream property. For the initial five years, the idea of a wedding venue lingered in our minds as mere whispers, accompanied by the challenges of bringing the property and buildings up to the necessary standards. It demanded overcoming various necessary and important requirements such as re-zoning and building codes and permits (which as inexperienced we were with that, it was an unfamiliar and, at times, challenging experience.) Yet, with determination and passion, and the help from an architectural designer, we succeeded and opened our doors in 2022 welcoming our first full season of weddings!
🌟 Over the past two seasons, we've been privileged to host 30 incredible weddings on our property. Each celebration has taught us something new, helping us refine and enhance The Farmstead experience. We believe in the magic of love, and our aim is to make your wedding day as enchanting and stress-free as possible.
🎓 After our 2022 season, Francine completed the Wedding Planner and Coordinator course through the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada, adding an extra layer of expertise to ensure your special day goes off without a hitch.
