Travel Gurus is amazing. From day 1 Melissa was our agent and she made us so excited about our wedding. She helped us select an amazing resort in our budget. When it came time to planning the wedding, she basically sat down and filled out all the paper work with us – it was SO easy. Melissa had been to the resort and suggested the best locations for our wedding. She even took pictures at the resort beforehand to show us the venues.

Both Melissa and Hidar came as our Tour Conductors and it was an unreal experience. They saved us THOUSANDS of dollars on our wedding and got us a free upgrade to the best room for both the wedding and honeymoon weeks. Upon arrival, they organized a meet-and-greet for all of the guests. They also planned and coordinated an awesome catamaran ride for all of our guests and even gave us a credit towards it.

Prior to the wedding, Hidar coordinated the walk-through so all wedding party guests knew what to do. On the wedding day, they took getting ready photos for us and essentially made sure the wedding went perfectly. My sister forgot the rings and Melissa ran back to the room to get them. My husband forgot socks and Hidar ran back to the room to get them. They were basically our go-to and they did everything for us, and then some. Hidar was our MC and he was SO GOOD and hilarious.

Honestly I could write so much about the experience we had. It was the best weeks of our lives and we owe so much of that to Travel Gurus. They really provided us with amazing service from the get-go. Melissa and Hidar were so much fun to spend time with and I don’t know if our wedding would have been half as good had they not been involved. So happy.

My husband and I chose Travel Gurus to help us plan our destination wedding after reading the positive reviews. However, our experience did not match those of others. Melissa, our Guru, helped us choose an amazing location and hotel but that was about it. She started out very helpful but as soon as we paid our deposit, her communication was non-existant. The unfortunate part is that we had guest flying from all over the country and we thought using a travel agent would make it easier for them. Melissa rarely communicated with anyone in our group let alone us as the bride and groom. I would send follow up emails regularly only to be left with silence. The icing on the cake was our return flight home. Melissa failed to inform us of some fairly major changes made to our departure that impacted most of our group. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed that this was the experience we had when planning our wedding. Maybe a different Guru would have been better but I doubt we will use them again.

Best travel agency I have went with. Thank you travel gurus for making our trip a memorable one!! The staff is professional and answered all our questions with ease and made us feel very comfortable. Would recommend to all my family and friends
