Beyond all expectations!

We had our wedding at A Bear and Bison Inn and the experience was incredible from start to finish. Brooke, Lonny and all of their support staff were absolute superstars on our big day and made it a truly magical day. The decorations were beautiful, the attention to detail was unmatched, and the overall experience was one I will never forget! They were so organized and executed everything so perfectly, it truly allowed us to relax and enjoy our wedding day. We are so grateful for them and all they did for us and will definitely be back for future anniversaries! Would highly recommend A Bear and Bison Inn for a magical, stress free, beautiful mountainside wedding at a very reasonable price!

A do not miss Venue location! Best Owner, In house Service, and Food selections!

The service, staff, and owner are second to None! We were married at The Bear and Bison in 2014, an unforgettable weekend! Great food, drinks, and gold star service. We were so happy we decided to celebrate our 10th anniversary here again. No change in 2024 with the service and small special touches. We will never forget the times we spent here and will continue to support a very special venue. All our friends and family can not say enough good things about their experiences here, they were blown away by the food and special attention the staff gives. I would highly recommend a visit to see for yourself!

Perfect small wedding in Canmore

This was the most wonderful, low stress venue! We do appreciated all the assistance Lony & Brook provided with their detailed planning documents, recommended vendors, day of coordination, printed day plans and advice for our guests. It made planning a wedding from a distance a dream!
We used the officiant they kindly provided, & chose all our vendors from their recommendation list, & received outstanding service from all of them!
The food was absolutely outstanding, & we received so many compliments from our guests who ate their full and then some!
Brook decorated the outdoor gazebo beautiflly, and the atmosphere (& photos) were perfect.
We went with our photographer to have a photoshoot in the mountains after the ceremony and those are exquisite too.

Wedding of our dreams and more!

Exceptional venue with quality service! Lonny, Brooke and staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for you. Food is fantastic!! Didn't have to lift a finger on our wedding day, such a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere. We couldn't be happier with how our wedding day went.

A place where love is cherished and memories are made!

Recommend 100%. Brooke and Lonny executed the most amazing weekend for us. Everything was down to the last detail. We eloped and had another couple with us and they made us feel like the only people in the world. From the morning specialty coffees, 3 course breakfast served every morning and the most amazing and delicious 5 course wedding feast! They knew how to make our day very special right down to the smallest detail. Bear and Bison Inn will forever be in our heart and memories.

Brooke helped alter and cut flowers for my bouquet, and found snacks for our kids when we were time crunched. I couldn’t say enough great things about her. Lonny was warm, welcoming and definitely kept everything running smooth. Their make up and hair stylist ( Sam) was someone I instantly loved and she did an amazing job. Their photographer (Bryan) was an amazing photographer to work with. He definitely got pictures that were breathtaking. We had a great time!

Perfect wedding venue

This was the perfect place for our venue and reception. I can't say enough good things about them. The staff is amazing at what they do, it made everything so stress free for us the whole weekend, and the food was to die for!

Perfect Family Wedding Venue

We are so happy that we booked our wedding with the Bear & Bison Inn! The venue is beautiful and has so much character, with great views and very comfortable rooms. The food was excellent, especially our wedding meal – everyone loved it! The team was very accommodating of dietary restrictions and really made an effort to make us all feel at home. Brooke was incredibly helpful and organized, and the entire planning process felt seamless and stressfree.
