Great service

We had a great experience dealing with Lori in sales, Monique from the linen company, Sarah the wedding coordinator and Gary in food and beverage. The Americana was able to handle several special dietary restrictions on various tables. Our venue was tree nut, peanut, seafood and fish free. They accommodated additional guests who required children's, vegetarian and dairy free meals. No one left hungry. The stuffed chicken, mashed potatoes, and carrots were delicious as our main course. The charcuterie trays and late night poutine were big hits for many people. Being able to do everything onsite worked great for us. My papa was able to be included in everything without being transported by a chair van. The bartender was...

We were in the Niagara room and it was perfect for a small wedding. We didn't want a traditional wedding and wanted more of an intimate party vibe and that's exactly what we were able to accomplish. At the end of the night all we had to do was leave. All of our decor was put away for us and all we needed to do the next morning was load our cars When we went back to our room we were surprised to find champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. We really had a fantastic experience.

The organization is not all there

Don't let the gorgeous venue and their packages fool you. They will tell you one thing and then tell you something different the next. I was promised a premium bar with martinis and all blended drinks at every appointment we had it was brought up it was a in fact a premium bar. The day of the wedding i heard from multiple guests that certain things weren't available. Some people said they had to tell the bar tender how to make a simple vodka cran drink. Apparently we had a signature drink crafted up and no one knew what it was and no signs saying there was none. On top of that they started bringing food out and the...

The day of the wedding i heard from multiple guests that certain things weren't available. Some people said they had to tell the bar tender how to make a simple vodka cran drink. Apparently we had a signature drink crafted up and no one knew what it was and no signs saying there was none. On top of that they started bringing food out and the bridal party/ bride and groom were not served first. I was told that i could have my ceremony in the atrium and then got it whisked away from me last minute. They constantly threw a former employee under the bus and said that it was always her fault for something. Now the decor lady was just a top on the cake. Second appointment with her she completely forgot about us, who we were, what we were there for, and forgot all the colors we discussed. It wasn't until 6 weeks before the date that we finally heard from this lady with multiple emails to 3 different people for the whole year. The day of the wedding something had happened with my seating chart and the person taking care of my wedding came up to me to tell me that it has broke and what do i want them to do about it. Number one rule is not to bother the bride and groom on the wedding day. The night turned out fine until they ran out of stuff at the bar. Our accommodated honeymoon suit was terrible. You heard everything from the hallway to people walking on the floor above us. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Fairytale Dream Come True

The Americana did an incredible job from beginning to end with our wedding. They were always quick to respond, and very helpful when it came to our many, many, many questions! They worked very close with us in bringing our dream to reality. The food was exceptional and they were more than happy to help us with our more personalized menu. The space was luxurious, with plenty of room for everything we needed. The staff were always so kind, not only to my husband and I, but went above and beyond for our guests as well. We definitely recommend Americana as the place to be for your dream come true wedding.

Phong & Kristy's Wedding

We just recently had our wedding at the Americana and everything was excellent from the beginning to the end. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to work with on our special day. Thank you to Lori and everyone we worked with along the way! It was a day we will never forget!

Wedding was beautiful!

We had an absolutely beautiful experience working with the staff of Americana for our wedding. Everyone was extremely helpful, welcoming and accommodating. They made the ballroom stunning and made our guests feel so welcome.

Absolutely Beautiful!

The Niagara Room was amazing! The wedding turned out! We did both our ceremony and reception in the same room and it was absolutely beautiful food was amazing and we got nothing but compliments about our night and how beautiful it was!

Incredible from beginning to end

I can not rave about the staff enough. They were amazing to work with, very professional and so attentive. They did everything they could to make our experience great. We booked our venue just before covid and had to postpone twice before our big day. They helped ease our anxieties and helped us to get a perfect day for us. I would recommend to anyone. The antipasto and the after glow were my favourite parts so good.

The perfect Venue

The Americana allowed our wedding dream to become a reality. All the staff were accomodating and friendly providing exceptional service. This includes everyone from the sales department at the beginning of the process, right down to the servers on the night of our reception. Service was quick and professional, food was delicious and bar service was quick and efficient. The whole team did an amazing job. The night ran smoothly from start to finish and we could not be more happy with our venue choice. Having the option for our guests to stay in hotel rooms was also a huge bonus. Many people took advantage of this option which allowed everyone to let loose and have a great time!

Magical wedding post-lockdown

As with most couples out there, we were supposed to get married in 2020 but ended up pushing it to 2021. The staff at Americana were super helpful and flexible to accommodate us through this period. Our wedding was literally the first weekend after lockdown so we didn't know what to expect. But it turned out exceptional thanks to the entire team at Americana.
We went with the Diamond package with the grand Antipasto - and trust us, you should choose the grand Antipasto! It was delicious, looked amazing and had everyone raving about it. Totally worth the extra dollars. The main course and the venue (Grande Ballroom) were very well done up as well. We went with table...

Overall, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wedding in the Niagara region. Our guests (mostly out-of-town) loved having the falls nearby to visit the day/night before.
