Jeff and the team at Bayview Wildwood Resort truly brought our wedding weekend vision to life! We wanted a venue where all our friends and family could spend the entire weekend together with on-site accommodations, and Bayview delivered that and more.

From the start, they were so easygoing and brought our many unique requests to life without hesitation (and there were many). The staff were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us and our guests.

The accommodations were ideal—Albert Manor was perfect for the bridal party to get ready, and Bayview Cottage was amazing for the groomsmen. Both spaces were huge and gave us all the room we needed.

We were fortunate to have the most beautiful weather the weekend of September 13–15, which only added to the magic. It was truly the best weekend of our lives, and we can’t thank Jeff and the Bayview team enough for making it happen! Highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for an unforgettable wedding weekend.

We planned our wedding from Florida and working with Jeff at Bayview Wildwood was not only straight forward but extremely affordable given what we received. First, their staff is unparalleled. The professionalism from the catering side, the quality of the food, everything from the night before BBQ (people raved about the grillables), to the actual wedding dinner, people were vocal about the quality of the steak and the how incredible the vegan options were!

Jed, the beverage and food manager was doing jobs beyond his expectation, I just can’t rave about this venue enough. Even their breakfast was some of the best I’ve had from most hotel/resort, and I have to travel quite a bit for work globally.

I’ve had a number of guests come up to me afterwards telling me they fully plan on going back for weekends away, anniversaries, reunions, etc… I know we’ll be back too, this resort is amazing. If you’re debating this venue, just do it- you won’t be disappointed!

We are so extremely thankful that we found Bayview Wildwood when we were searching for venues. Our dream was to have a cottage weekended wedding with all our friends and family and Bayview brought that dream to life for an affordable price. Jeff and Jett are a dream team that made us feel well taken care of and special, Jett brought us everything that we requested after checking in (champaign flutes, whiskey glasses, lunch, etc). Shout out to all the staff that worked the weekend of our wedding and who went above and beyond to make our guests comfortable and our party unforgettable. The food was delicious, fresh and filling. Out guests are still talking about the prime rib that was bigger than the plate and the chicken supreme that was succulent and flavourful. The rooms were gorgeous, very clean and comfortable, all of our guests were accommodated. The property is so beautiful and there is so much for your guests to do while you get ready for the ceremony. The kids loved the indoor pool and outdoor activities and especially the indoor playground. Our guests did not want to leave and we are planning a group visit this summer/fall. Bayview Wildwood was the perfect spot to host our cottage wedding weekend! We had 192 guests all stay on site and the team at BWW worked hard to make sure there was room for everyone as we were near the top end of their capacity! The ceremony and reception areas were gorgeous - the ceremony really doesn't need a lot of decorating - though we did anyway :) as it's right on the water with a gorgeous birch log arbor. The reception area is a great size but there is a slight divider between the room so we sat the head table between the divider so no one would feel far away from the action and speeches which worked well. Creating the floor plan proved to be tricky as we wanted space to dance but we also had 23 tables! My planner and I worked with the BWW dining team to create a plan that worked! The chairs in the dining area are not the most attractive so we ended up renting cuter chairs. The resort has black linens but no other colours so I rented linens as well. The food was delicious and the staff were accommodating to allergies and dietary needs. I highly recommend Bayview Wildwood to anyone planning an up-north style wedding! It was a perfect weekend!

Jeff, Nancy, Andy, Amanda and the entire Bayview Wildwood team truly made our wedding weekend absolutely incredible and helped bring our vision to life.

Everything was perfect. Our guests had the best time and we are still hearing from people about how much they enjoyed the weekend. We had to deal with some rain and the rainy day changes that Jeff helped us figure out actually worked better than our original plans.

The food the entire weekend was AMAZING! The wedding reception food and service were perfect and everyone was so amazed by how tender the beef was. We had fries for a late night snack and they were SO good. The team also accommodated many dietary restrictions without hesitation.

Nancy was incredible and worked so hard to help us organize the accommodations for our guests. Everyone was SO happy and it all worked out perfectly. The newly renovated rooms are amazing!

The team went above and beyond to assist us throughout the whole weekend so that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. They accommodated all of our ideas and additions, including distributing almost 100 welcome bags to each room.

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. The whole weekend was better than we could have ever imagined we are so grateful to the whole Bayview Wildwood team.

Where to begin… Bayview and all the staff made our wedding weekend beyond AMAZING! To any brides or grooms out there considering Bayview, we would recommend this place one thousand times over. We had our wedding weekend at the end of June and it was more than perfect. We visited Bayview in July 2018 for the first time on Canada Day weekend and were sold after a one night stay - everyone made the experience so memorable we couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else! Once we booked a year in advance, the staff never failed to help us throughout the process. We even had many pleasant surprises such as room renovations, a new dance floor, etc. that was so exciting to see when we visited a year later! Shoutout to the staff - Jeff and Nancy for fielding numerous questions all throughout our planning, Amanda for organizing an amazing meal, the Chef for coming out to check that everyone was enjoying the food (which we got so many compliments on!), Donna for keeping the bar going all throughout the night (and boy was she busy!!), to the summer staff who were joking around with us as they set up the ceremony and chairs, the staff that snuck away and unloaded all of our booze for the canoe on the Friday night… and everyone else we missed! The staff are truly amazing - they go above and beyond for everything! So many fun surprises every time we visited. We felt that they were absolutely ready for our 100+ guests and we were always greeted with a smile. The food was so delicious, the rooms were lovely & clean, the pool was warm, there were SO many activities to do - all of our guests kept raving about how fun it was to have an entire weekend together (BBQ & Bonfire Friday night, wedding Saturday, etc.) and how we found such a great place! We cannot thank Bayview enough for such a great memory and I would be happy to answer any questions for anyone else possibly considering getting married there!

Sorry for the lengthy post- trying to give information for any future brides!

Bayview Wildwood Resort will always hold a special place in our hearts, as we chose this resort for our wedding weekend September 29th-October 1st 2017. We had a lot of guests from out of province so we wanted a venue that could accommodate all guests (approximately 120 people- but they can hold more) and be it's own destination (beautiful setting, good price, good food etc). We did not want our guests flying in and just staying at a holiday inn for one night and only see us for half a day- so we did an entire weekend where our guests came Friday and left Sunday. That way it was worth it for our guests to make the trip across the country. 

From our first visit at the resort to the morning we left following the wedding, the staff at Bayview helped make our wedding weekend stress free and so enjoyable. They really cater to what you want for your wedding and provide so much flexibility which we really appreciated. They really go above and beyond and to any bride- that is really important. For example, when we were setting up the arbor, we were trying to position it so that the water trampoline would not show up in any photos- we were struggling with its position and then the ground guys just jumped in a boat, went over to the trampoline and pulled it in on shore so it was no longer an issue. There were many instances such as this where the Bayview staff just jumped in and handled a situation without any direction- this contributed to everything running so smoothly. 

The plan was to have a bonfire on the Friday night but the weather was absolutely terrible so the back up plan was to all go to the Cedar Room to socialize and play some cards etc but then the power went out for over half the resort (due to weather). My parents had rented Albert Manor (which I highly recommend-where the bridal party got ready etc) and they still had power so we ended up having a big house party with all the guests and this night was super super fun. 

Saturday, the guests all got to enjoy the resort (some stayed in bed recovering from the Friday night festivities) but guests were canoeing, kayaking, SUPing etc. There is SO much to do here. Then we had a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the Albert Manor grounds. Everything went 100% smooth here- really nothing to complain about- a dream ceremony followed by cocktail hour and then reception in the dining lounge with the lake as a back drop. Our guests raved about the food- I didn't have much of an appetite with all of the excitement but what I did have was delish. We did a plated meal- gave our guests the option for chicken, beef or veg. 

Buffet breakfast was included with our guests accommodation so Sunday morning we got one last chance to see everyone before we all went our separate ways. Many guests have said they would like to come back and everyone said they had the best weekend. Jeff and Jason were my go-to guys (Jason was more resort logistics and Jeff was all things wedding- food and beverage and all the little details from Friday-Sunday). Jeff brought to life any request I had and kept me sane throughout all the wedding planning - you basically get a wedding resort planner for the weekend. They really thought of everything- including sweet gestures like champagne in the room for the bride and groom.

I cannot rave enough about the resort and staff. Some rooms are more dated than others but they were clean and we loved the more rustic cottage-y vibe- that is exactly what we were going for. Yes trains constantly go by and unfortunately one went by right when our ceremony started so no-one got to hear anything but it did not ruin a thing and is a great memory. If you are a light sleeper you may struggle with that but it was fine and did not bother us- there is actually some amazing history tied with the rail line here so be positive about it!

I am SO thankful we had a such an amazing experience for our wedding and it really comes down to the venue, food and experience your guests have- Bayview really delivers and knows how to throw a wedding. Also- we did not have a huge budget. You could do your wedding as affordable or extravagant as you would like and the wedding rate for your guests is cheaper than any other hotel in the area and included breakfast! 

Other than choosing to marry my husband, choosing to have our wedding at Bayview Wildwood Resort was the best decision we made for our wedding. We can't wait to go back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.

Bayview Wildwood hosted our September 2017 wedding and we can’t thank the team enough for making our day (and weekend) so special! If you are looking for a lakeside wedding with a cottage vibe this is your venue! We wanted a good time, with good food, celebrating with those closest to us and Bayview delivered the ideal experience.

The weather was in our favour and our guests were able to enjoy every inch of the resort during the weekend. From the Friday bon fire to the Saturday ceremony and reception Bayview allowed us to pull off the lakeside wedding of our dreams.

We had a wedding weekend event and Bayview made it a dream come true. The food was incredible. The views were amazing. The accomodations were beautiful and the staff were absolutely perfect!!! We had a welcome bbq and bonfire on the friday evening and was a perfect start to our weekend!!

The resort and staff were above and beyond our expectations! They were so helpful and friendly. Even our guests raves about the wonderful staff. Food was out of this world! Everything he ate was incredible! Would recommend this venue to anyone
