About the Bonnie View Inn

Established in the scenic Haliburton Highlands back in 1924, the Bonnie View Inn has become a longstanding symbol of relaxation and comfort. As a family-owned establishment, we offer 26 comfortable accommodations, blending the cozy vibe of a country inn with the amenities of a larger resort. Bonnie View Inn holds a timeless charm, with a rich history of hosting weddings dating back to 1945. We offer wedding space in the spring, fall and winter months but do not host weddings in July or August. In most cases, and to ensure exclusivity for the weekend - we require that you book all of the rooms on the property for both the Friday and Saturday night. While filling the inn may seem difficult to do, we promise you that it easier than you think! Who doesn’t want to pair up a wedding with a weekend getaway?

Facilities and capacity

The Bonnie View Inn dining room is available to seat 120 guests total. However, other spaces such as the lounge and screened porch can seat 20 and 15 guests, respectively. You also have the option to have a covered outdoor reception as it has a leveled off space to set up a tent overlooking the lake.

We have designed three distinct packages for your consideration, each complemented by a range of supplementary options and upgrades. Experience has shown that these packages are the ones most frequently preferred and that the package add-ons and extras allow you to tailor your package according to your specific preferences.

Cuisine

With a flair for culinary magic, Chef Dave not only curates exquisite menus but also offers a personalized touch, accommodating specific dietary needs with finesse.

Accommodation

Our property can host a maximum of 105 guests across various accommodations. However, for optimal comfort, we recommend a party size of around 80 guests. If you have additional guests in need of accommodation, we can provide suggestions for overflow options and assist in coordinating transportation on the night of the wedding. As part of our wedding packages, we do have minimum accommodation revenue requirements.
