The Coast Canmore Hotel is a one-stop-shop for your Rocky Mountain wedding in Canmore, Alberta. We are the largest full-service venue in Canmore as we can accommodate receptions and ceremonies with a guest list of up to 300 people.
With various packages to choose from, we offer a customizable experience. Every wedding is unique and our professional event coordinators will give you personalized advice and will be there for you every step of the way. Whether you invite 20 guests or 300, we want to make your dream wedding come to life.
We offer guestrooms, reception space, indoor ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and all the amenities of a full-service hotel for you and your guests to enjoy. Our on-site restaurant Table Food + Drink - open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or beverages in our lounge - will cater your meals to perfection.

Our Wildrose Ballroom can be divided into four separate sections (each approximately 1500 square feet). The hotel has 164 guestrooms and an onsite restaurant with a private dining room perfect for rehearsal dinners and intimate celebrations.

Tables food+drink
We booked a private room for our intimate reception at Tables, and boy we got so many compliments from it. The food was the bestt!! And they even accommodate our request to come early to set up our decor. The staff were so so nice and very polite. And when it comes to the price, it’s also very budget friendly and we already have a 3course meal! HOW COOL IS THAT. Ambiance is great too! I would recommend it for intimate dinners/wedding reception.

Exceeded Expectations
Charlotte was very responsive through the entire planning process and made sure to check in on us day-of. She was also very accommodating with our pups being in the wedding party and making sure there was no food/drink in the room that would conflict with this.
We went with the cougar creek buffet and many of our guests commented on it being the best food they had had at a wedding. Keith, the head chef even stopped in to make sure everything met expectations. We had the poutin bar and pizza as a late night snack and it was amazing, no one could even tell we had requested vegitatian gravy.
Owen.C was our bartender and gave the best service we have ever experienced. Was very engaging with the guests and on top of what was going on, even providing estimates on bar tab upon request.
Some of the guests from the wedding next door started hanging out at our wedding and playing games. Since we had an open bar and they did not as soon as they started coming in Owen approached me to see if I wanted them to be able to order from our bar since it would end up on our bill. We did not. He was very observant and tactful the entire time while directing the other guests to their own bar and offering top tier service to our guests. My mom ordered a drink for one of the ladies she was talking with and he went as far as to ask her if the bride was okay with it. I've never seen someone offer so much care and consideration in their job.
Caleb, the manager, checked in multiple times. Seeing if we needed more food, making sure everything was going smoothly and made the day stress free with his attention to detail and amazing staff.
We have not got our professional photos back yet so enjoy some Polaroids from our guest book!

Thank you for making our day special!
We had our wedding reception here last month at their restaurant, Table Food + Drink in their private room. It was such a good space for us, we all had a lot of fun there!
Charlotte helped us with the details and planning, she was very patient and went above and beyond to answer any and all questions. We had a set menu and everyone loved the food! The Banquet staff serving us including the Banquet Manager were so nice and patient, they served us all night and everything went without a hitch!

Wedding Reception
Our reception at Coast Hotel ended up being wonderful and all of our guests had a great time! Our coordinator was responsive through all stages of planning, and the day of staff were all incredibly friendly and happy to be there. Pricing was reasonable for Canmore pricing, and our wedding suite was romantic with bubbly, a special treat, and rose petals setup when we arrived. They also gave us a special treat for our dog which was appreciated.

A Great Reception Venue
We had a great wedding reception at the Coast Canmore. It was well priced and the food was delicious. We had a hiccup with the time slot we had for setting up decor and the staff there went out of there way to make sure that everything went smoothly! The venue looked great and the staff were kind and quick to reply to me. I would definitely recommend the venue.

Such a great experience overall!
We had a great experience hosting our wedding reception at the Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre. Our wedding coordinator Charlotte was easy to communicate with via email and super helpful during the final planning steps. The service team during the reception were all friendly and the entire night ran smoothly thanks to them. The hot canapés, appetizer, main course, and dessert was all so tasty! The poutine bar was also a huge hit among our guests. Would highly recommend booking at the Coast Coast Canmore Hotel & Conference Centre for your wedding reception!

Perfect reception space for our wedding!
We had booked with the coast a little over a year before our wedding, and we’re very pleased the day of! There had been a few minor hurdles as with any wedding day, but the team was quick to help us out. I felt taken care of by the catering team as they always checked in with me when I was walking around! Food was excellent and everyone raved especially about the salmon! The coordinator did a wonderful job communicating with me as they had changed teams halfway through our time with planning, and honoured multiple changes we had made to the contract. When finalizing our bill and giving our feedback the coast was eager to hear where they could grow as a team and look to best serve me in any way possible.
The only thing I will comment on and noticed made getting ready the day of the wedding a little difficult was the size of the rooms. Otherwise the hotel rooms were just what we needed.

Perfect Venue
We held our elopement dinner here with some close family and friends, and my husband and I were over the moon with the excellent service and delicious food. Communications with the coordinator leading up the event was often and informative and everything was laid out clearly. The private room at the table was a great size and had everything we needed. Thank you so much again!
