  Amazing wedding venue!

  Coast Canmore Hotel has been a great place to have our wedding reception. Charlotte has been so incredible to work with when getting everything organised for the wedding. She was extremely prompt with answering any of my questions or worries and made the process of organising our wedding from Australia extremely easy!
  The team who worked the night of the wedding were also incredible. The bar tender was amazing and all our guests commented on how great she was!
  The food was all really tasty and our guests all spoke extremely highly of the food.
  The staff were very accommodating as well, getting me anything I needed on the morning of the wedding whilst getting ready.
  
  Cant recommend Coast Canmore enough! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and everything to do our wedding was perfect.

  A few difficult staff members, Messed up reservations, requests not met

  We just had our wedding on August 24, 2024. Up until about a month before my wedding I had zero issues then a new coordinator was added to my event and he came in and changed things on my contract which I brought up and they were dealt with. they tried to add on a $500 fee for artificial white flower petals saying it would damage their carpets and I refused to sign the waiver, they wanted or pay the $500 which I’m glad I did because when I arrived, their carpets were already stained and damaged. They attempted to take a final payment out two weeks before it was due, which was a breach of contract. The manager of the hotel had to take over my wedding because the two coordinators kept doing things wrong. When my guests arrived, they were given two queen bedrooms when they had booked a king room and had confirmation of a king room and were still refused a king bedroom. One of my guest were given a room key, then checked into a room where somebody was sleeping in the bed. The only good thing I have to say about this venue is the manager was great to deal with in the end and Caleb the event coordinator who manages the waiter staff and food was amazing. The food was the only thing that saved this venue because that was phenomenal, but I’m pretty sure you can find another venue with phenomenal food that will cause you less of a headache.

  Tables food+drink

  We booked a private room for our intimate reception at Tables, and boy we got so many compliments from it. The food was the bestt!! And they even accommodate our request to come early to set up our decor. The staff were so so nice and very polite. And when it comes to the price, it’s also very budget friendly and we already have a 3course meal! HOW COOL IS THAT. Ambiance is great too! I would recommend it for intimate dinners/wedding reception.

  Excellent Experience

  The Coast hosted our micro wedding reception in their private space. They were easy to work with, communicative, and able to accommodate all or requests. We had an amazing meal and time in their space. Their staff were great, easy to talk to, and gave us our space as needed. We ended up staying way longer than we anticipated, having such a great time! All our guests enjoyed their meals, the atmosphere was just what we were looking for, I would highly recommend them to any other small group looking for a private dining space.

  Exceeded Expectations

  Charlotte was very responsive through the entire planning process and made sure to check in on us day-of. She was also very accommodating with our pups being in the wedding party and making sure there was no food/drink in the room that would conflict with this.
  
  We went with the cougar creek buffet and many of our guests commented on it being the best food they had had at a wedding. Keith, the head chef even stopped in to make sure everything met expectations. We had the poutin bar and pizza as a late night snack and it was amazing, no one could even tell we had requested vegitatian gravy.
  
  Owen.C was our bartender and gave the best service we have ever experienced. Was very engaging with the guests and on top of what was going on, even providing estimates on bar tab upon request.
  
  Some of the guests from the wedding next door started hanging out at our wedding and playing games. Since we had an open bar and they did not as soon as they started coming in Owen approached me to see if I wanted them to be able to order from our bar since it would end up on our bill. We did not. He was very observant and tactful the entire time while directing the other guests to their own bar and offering top tier service to our guests. My mom ordered a drink for one of the ladies she was talking with and he went as far as to ask her if the bride was okay with it. I've never seen someone offer so much care and consideration in their job.
  
  Caleb, the manager, checked in multiple times. Seeing if we needed more food, making sure everything was going smoothly and made the day stress free with his attention to detail and amazing staff.
  
  We have not got our professional photos back yet so enjoy some Polaroids from our guest book!

  All you have to do is show up !

  Charlotte was our coordinator and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She was very prompt with responses and even gave suggestions which I found super helpful . The day of the wedding was a breeze and I loved how she even helped me with my centre pieces !!! She and the rest of the coast Canmore hotel employees made our day flawless and stress free . The price was very doable for a mountain wedding as well. Highly recommend .

  Thank you for making our day special!

  We had our wedding reception here last month at their restaurant, Table Food + Drink in their private room. It was such a good space for us, we all had a lot of fun there!
  Charlotte helped us with the details and planning, she was very patient and went above and beyond to answer any and all questions. We had a set menu and everyone loved the food! The Banquet staff serving us including the Banquet Manager were so nice and patient, they served us all night and everything went without a hitch!
  Special thanks again to Charlotte and The Banquet staff for going above and beyond to make our day special! Thank you!

Our coordinator was responsive through all stages of planning, and the day of staff were all incredibly friendly and happy to be there. Pricing was reasonable for Canmore pricing, and our wedding suite was romantic with bubbly, a special treat, and rose petals setup when we arrived. They also gave us a special treat for our dog which was appreciated.

  If we could give Coast more than 5 stars, we would! We hosted our intimate wedding dinner at Table Food + Drink, and everything was absolutely perfect. From the initial inquiry email, through the planning stage, to the dinner and party itself, everything went so smoothly. Charlotte was our coordinator and she was absolutely incredible! She was quick to respond to emails and accommodating of all our requests. Our bartender (Owen, you were everyone’s favourite person, thank you for being so awesome) and servers went above and beyond to orchestrate a flawless dinner service and ensure our guests enjoyed themselves all night. Finally, the food was absolutely exceptional! We were thrilled with the selections of meals available on the feature menu, and everything was delicious. There is absolutely nothing we would have changed, and we’re so grateful to Coast for helping us plan our dream reception. Thank you so much for everything!

  A Great Reception Venue

  We had a great wedding reception at the Coast Canmore. It was well priced and the food was delicious. We had a hiccup with the time slot we had for setting up decor and the staff there went out of there way to make sure that everything went smoothly! The venue looked great and the staff were kind and quick to reply to me. I would definitely recommend the venue.
