Perfect Wedding Day with Creekside Villa

My partner and I held our wedding with Creekside and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It was quite tricky for us to organise a wedding while residing in England but Michal and Mickayla excelled at coordinating our plans and when we arrived to Canmore, the day went so smoothly and stress-free. We have received feedback from our family and friends with the common theme being it was one of the best weddings they have been to!

My partner and I held our wedding with Creekside and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It was quite tricky for us to organise a wedding while residing in England but Michal and Mickayla excelled at coordinating our plans and when we arrived to Canmore, the day went so smoothly and stress-free. We have received feedback from our family and friends with the common theme being it was one of the best weddings they have been to!

- The food was very impressive in both serving size and quality. The kitchen staff deserve a shout-out for putting out ~50 perfectly cooked steaks all at the same time!
- The entire Creekside team was great fun to be around and were quick to help us with any request or question we had. Throughout our wedding day we really felt we could trust the team to ensure our day and decor were perfect.

We are so happy Creekside and we would strongly recommend them for anyone looking to host their wedding in the Canmore/Banff area!

Memories for a lifetime

This picturesque mountain venue was host to our dream wedding with indoor ceremony and reception, at the end January 2024. We could not have been happier with the experience. The staff were completely attentive to our vision and were able to take that and reproduce it to exactly what we wished. It was a completely no stress event for the two of us. The food was fantastic, we chose the chicken and beef (typical wedding staples) which were absolutely delicious - no taste tests needed. All of our guests had something to rave about, whether it was the service, the suites, the venue itself or the overall atmosphere of the building. Thanks again for an unforgettable weekend. We will be back for future stays.

Completely Outstanding!!

Let me first say that absolutely all of the staff at Creekside are a total joy to work with! Everyone is just beyond accommodating and friendly and helpful, I have nothing but good things to say about literally every person we dealt with. And the food!!! Completely blew us away and all of our guests as well, we’ve heard from everyone how much they enjoyed everything, from appetizers to dinner to desert- just unbelievable! So many of our guests commented to us that we had the perfect venue. A Fairytale Wedding come true

It was the wedding I've always dreamed of, bespoke, family oriented & intimate. The team at Creekside Villa was gracious, helpful, professional & detail oriented. The food, beyond expectations! The food showed off the bounty of Canada to my California foodie family. Carolyn & Marcus have put together a team that works seamlessly & professionally.

The venue is an all in one, ceremony outside with the mountains surrounding us. (Option to move inside in case of rain) Cocktails & lawn games for the guests whilst we took our photos, reception inside. I am a DIYer at heart & have a long formidable Pinterest wedding board. I crafted much of the decor and Erin Savage, the Wedding Coordinator (included in the pricing) was expert at taking my items and designing a perfectly bespoke wedding & reception. My photographer could not believe how detail oriented the venue was. They made us look so good, and it was effortless on our part.

If we were to do it again, no question, we would have our wedding at Creekside Villa

Best day ever

Creekside villa perfectly executed our wedding day, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our intimate wedding. We had 57 guests, with about 25 of them staying at the villa with us. The food was excellent! All of our guests had a great time.

Amazing Venue for a Wedding Weekend

We chose Creekside Villa for our wedding as we wanted a smaller venue that could offer a full weekend package. This place fit the bill - it's a small business that has a nice, family feel. In total we had 40 guests at our wedding. The entire wedding experience completely exceeded our expectations. The property is rustic, cozy, and elegant, just beautiful. So charming and comfortable with lots of space to relax and have coffee or a drink. The venue's wedding planner (Erin) is amazing - she works incredibly hard and brings your vision to life. She made the day go completely seamless. The food was amazing (daily breakfast and wedding dinner), nice bar set-up, and beautiful outdoor ceremony space. All in all, we were so grateful that we chose this venue - it was absolutely perfect.

Incredible venue!

From start to finish, Erin was amazing to work with. Food exceeded our expectations, rooms were perfect for a private function and the entire ambiance was rustic and elegant. Service was impeccable by everyone involved! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Well Executed, Stressful Planning

This review is tough to write as I’m so torn on our experience! Our day was everything we could have imagined, but we did not have the best experience with Creekside Villa leading up to our big day - I wanted to leave an honest review for any future brides considering this venue.

We visited Creekside Villa for the first time in February after finding the venue online. We instantly fell in love with the look of the venue, the fact that their wedding package claimed to offer it all (a wedding planner, set up/take down, rental coordination, food/alcohol, florals), and the ability to have our closest friends and family stay on site with us for our wedding. It is such a gorgeous venue which is perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings, with a great location and beautiful mountain views.

I would say that the claim “our in-house planners work with you from day one to customize and create the event of your dreams” is only half true, as while we did get the event of our dreams, the wedding planner was not involved much until a month before the wedding. We struggled to get email replies in a timely manner, usually waiting at least four days to two weeks for a single response. When a reply was received, it consisted mostly of information or excuses about why the reply took so long. On multiple occasions, we were promised things by a certain date and they were never delivered by the promised date, which is really unprofessional. It was extremely stressful not making planning decisions until a month before the wedding, it felt really rushed and unorganized, and we had to go over decisions multiple times as they were not documented. The whole experience with the wedding planner leading up to the wedding was really poor and added SO much stress to the planning process.

That being said, the wedding day was beautiful and it turned out better than we could have imagined. The wedding planner did amazing on the decor and florals - they exceeded our expectations. The day was kept on schedule, and we had no major issues. The food was delicious and our guests had nothing but good things to say about the food, midnight lunch, and hors d’oeuvres. The service staff were attentive and did a great job serving and clearing plates in a timely manner. The rooms were very quaint and cozy, and the daily breakfast was delicious. We also loved that the venue allowed us to bring our dogs to celebrate with us!

Unbelievable Wedding Experience

Wow!! Can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel. We recently hosted our wedding at Creekside Villa and every detail was incredible. From the gorgeous space itself, to the phenomenal service from the staff, also special shout out to Erin, our wedding coordinator who completely knocked it out of the park. Our guests commented on how beautiful and comfortable the rooms were and we could not agree more. We highly recommend choosing Creekside Villa for your big day. 5 stars all around!!!

The staff go above and beyond to ensure that your stay is perfect and that everyone is comfortable, treating you like family. They were all so friendly and helpful.
