The Delta London Armouries boasts several picturesque locations for your wedding festivities. Located in the heart of this beautiful castle, the Armouries Ballroom can accommodate a maximum of 180 guests for a lavish sit-down meal or 300 guests for a cocktail reception. This spacious 2,580-square-foot room features gorgeous chandeliers and a private foyer. The second ballroom, the Gunnery Ballroom, features exposed brick and a working fireplace. The high arched ceiling creates an airy, elegant atmosphere. You can host up to 90 seated guests or 150 cocktail-style in this upscale space.

History

The London Armoury opened on February 1st, 1905, with a grand ceremony graced by the presence of Lord Aylmer, Inspector General of the Canadian Forces. The London Armoury housed mess halls, quarters, parade square, gunnery shed, and shooting gallery and provided splendid accommodation for the Seventh Fusiliers, First Hussars, and the 6th Field Battery.

When it first opened, the Armoury was the center of London’s social scene, hosting grand military balls, and visiting officials. Since opening its doors in 1986 as a full-service, 4-star London landmark hotel, the Armoury has been host to the Prime Minister of Canada, British Royalty, Hollywood celebrities, dignitaries, and numerous weddings and corporate functions. The Armoury has continued to become part of cherished memories for all.
