DoubleTree by Hilton is a venue that is conveniently located in Calgary, Alberta just off 16 Ave and Deerfoot Trail NE. The staff works hard to assist clients throughout the entire process of wedding planning. It is a full-service venue that is sure to impress you and your guests. Facilities and capacity
The hotel covers an area of more than 16,000 square feet of event space. All the rooms come with wireless highspeed internet connection and provide elevated ceilings and in-house sound systems. The three rooms for both small and large weddings are:
- Rocky Mountain Ballroom: This gorgeous Ballroom covers 4,050 quare feet of space. It is ideal for elegant and sophisticated celebrations. Located on the main level, it has 11' foot ceilings and partitian walls that can create three breakout rooms. This room holds up to 300 people for a sit down event.
- Selkirk Room: This classic location is 1,500 square feet and is located on the main floor, just adjacent to Rocky Mountain Ballroom. Just as elegant and sophisticated as the Ballroom, the Selkirk Room will accomodate up to 80 guests for a sit down event.
- Skyline Room: This 2nd level room overlooking downtown and the Rocky Mountains with 2 walls of floor to ceiling windows 2400 sq. ft. This room holds up to 100 people for a sit down event.
Services offered
For ceremonies we offer a podium & microphone, a skirted signing table, staging and more!
For Receptions we offer tables, chairs, china, silverware, glassware, linen and napkins. Additional complimentary items include table numbers, staging and dance floors.
Accommodations
The hotel boasts 191 guest rooms that are equipped with all the modern amenities including complimentary wireless internet, 55" flat screen tv, microwave, mini frdige, in-room safe, hair dryer, and much more. Various suites are available as well as adjoining rooms.
Other facilities
Complimentary parking is available for all guests. Ammenities include: a full service restaurant, lobby lounge, Made Market for snacks and amenities.
Location
The venue is situated just 12 minutes away from both the Calgary International Airport (YYC) and the vibrant downtown core. It is also located at a close proximity from the local attractions including but not limited to: The Calgary Zoo, TELUS Spark Science Centre and CrossIron Mills Shopping Centre.
