Langdon Hall Country House Hotel & Spa is a Cambridge-based venue that specializes in hosting country style weddings in a turn of the century revival house surrounded by lush gardens. Your ceremony can take place in one of their private dining rooms which can later be followed by an elegant reception in one of it's multiple event spaces. This old Ontario estate is a picturesque setting for a great celebration!

Facilities and capacity

This hotel venue's facilities offered for weddings includes four spaces which all boast stunning views.

• Firshade Room & Summer House: This is the newest event space which has a capacity for up to 120 guests.
• Orchard Room & Terrace: This space has floor to ceiling windows and has a capacity for 54 guests or less for lunch receptions only.
• Colonel Langdon's Conservatory & Dining Room: This space is suitable for smaller weddings and has a capacity for 20 guests or less.

The options offered include a cocktail reception, 3-course dinner, optional menu enhancements and a wine selection. All food and bervage is provided by Langdon Hall with the exception of a wedding cake or sweets display.

The accommodation offered at this hotel venue includes 60 beautiful guest rooms and suites. These rooms are spacious, furnished with fine antiques, feather beds and boast wood burning fireplaces creating a cozy atmosphere. Some rooms also feature private terraces or balconies that overlook the soothing garden landscape.

History

Established in 1898, this property was built by Eugene Langdon Wilks. The Langdon Family spent many generations there until they sold the mansion in 1982. From there it was developed into a country house hotel by William Bennett and Mary Beaton until it reopened in 1989.
