Le Belvedere is a wedding venue located in Wakefield, Quebec. Situated among the Canadian countryside, it is surrounded by natural beauty. Benefitting from breathtaking views, this property is also large enough to accommodate a variety of wedding events. Owned and operated by a family, it boasts a dedicated and professional team whose aim is to create wonderful wedding experiences for clients.
Facilities and Capacity
Boasting 8,000 square feet of event space, Le Belvedere is an expansive site that can host large or low-key celebrations. In fact, occasions with as few as 75 guests can be enjoyed as easily as a larger celebration for up to 200. Those who would like to get ready on site are free to make use of the get-ready rooms or The Garden House. The happy couple can say “I do” in the open air as their friends and family share the milestone moment on the terrace. A covered archway can be decorated with linens and florals as the happy pair exchange vows in front of their seated guests. A view of rolling green hills forms a suitable backdrop for the iconic moment. Alternatively, an indoor space can be arranged for those occasions when the weather is not cooperating. As the day unfolds, the wedding party can make their way towards the banquet hall. Here, everyone can relax and unwind. Elegant chairs, banquet-style tables, and centerpieces can be set out. A combination of ceiling spotlights, chandeliers, and large windows create a well-lit, inviting ambiance. After appetites have been satisfied, people can begin to drift in and out, enjoying the surroundings. Outdoors, a campfire can be savored beneath the stars, and this would certainly be a fitting place for a late-night toast or heartfelt speech.
Services Offered
Couples who book Le Belvedere are treated to a comprehensive suite of service and features. Ahead of the big occasion, a professional coordinator can guide and advise, and they can also lend their expertise when the special event arrives. Bar staff and waiters can also be on hand to serve the newlyweds and their guests. A range of event rentals can also be provided such as charming ceremony lanterns, chalkboards, table numbers, aisle markers, and more. Overnight stays for invitees can be arranged in The Guesthouse or The Wakefield Grand.
Cuisine
The head chef can prepare a selection of three-course meals to enjoy. The cuisine is inspired by a range of locations such as the Caribbean, Asia, Italy, Canada, and elsewhere. Canapes, late-night stations, plated dishes, and more are all served. Beverages available include beer, wine, and of course Champagne.

We couldn't be more thrilled with the exceptional service provided by our bartenders. From the start, Gilles and his team brought a level of professionalism and charm that truly enhanced our celebration. They were not only skilled in crafting delicious and creative cocktails but also had a knack for reading the room and keeping the energy upbeat!
And the staff…! They were exceptional —warm, attentive, and professional. They ensured that every aspect of our day ran smoothly, from the moment our guests arrived to the last dance of the evening. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to accommodate our needs made everyone feel welcomed and cherished.
Not to forget the FOOD! The culinary team at Le Belvedere is phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully presented, incredibly flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Our guests could not stop raving about it.
We sincerely couldn’t have asked for a better team to help us celebrate our wedding. Their dedication and passion made our day unforgettable. We are so grateful for their hard work and for helping us create such beautiful memories.

Flawless experience - incredible venue worth every dollar
I couldn't recommend Belvedere enough, their team is amazing to work with and our wedding went off without a hitch.
At first we had some sticker shock on the price, but quickly realized that there's SO much included up front whereas other venues hide this in their options or their contracts.
10/10 recommend
Incredible Venue and Team!!!
The venue speaks for itself, every aspect of the property from the ceremony location to the Grand is stunning, and so much thought has been put into every detail. However even more amazing is the staff. We could not get over the level of professionalism and warmth we experienced with every single interaction we had. Every email we sent or question we had was answered so promptly, every process they have in place made our wedding planning that much easier, and they always had such great input or a solution to any issue we encountered.
Taylor was our main point of communication, and we were lucky enough to have had her as our coordinator for the day, and she is remarkable. You can tell how much experience she has, as she is so organized, detail oriented, adaptable and you know you are in the best hands. She is the kindest, most thoughtful person and ourselves and our family/friends could not stop talking about how amazing she is.
The rest of the staff were so lovely, the service was above and beyond, the food and drinks were incredible, and we are just so thankful we picked this venue with such a standout team, as they truly made our wedding day. We will be recommending Le Belvedere over and over again!!!

The Best Day of Our Lives
Although we started our ceremony an hour late, with the help of Stephanie Mason from Stephanie Mason Photography and DJ Jeff from Capital Events + Entertainment, Jessica and the Le Belvedere team got us back on track for timing so we could enjoy everything as it was supposed to be scheduled.
Between the diligent care for dietary restrictions to the setup and cleanup of the venue, I cannot speak more highly of the extraordinarily organized and fun-loving spirit of the team at Le Belvedere.
Jessica, you truly are a gem and we were so grateful to be able to have our wedding at the most beautiful venue in the Ottawa / Gatineau area, Le Belvedere.
