A dream come true 💕
The best and first choice we made for our wedding day was choosing The Pinnacle for our ceremony and reception. The views were breath taking and the service was impeccable. Having Laura as our day of coordinator really helped put my bride zilla mind at ease. They also gave us complimentary personalized robes along with accommodations for the night of! Couldn't of chose a better location. Thank you to everyone who made our day a dream come true !!! Can't wait to spend anniversaries with them in the years to come 💕The best and first choice we made for our wedding day was choosing The Pinnacle for our ceremony and reception. Booking a wedding
Our experience with Pinnacle personnel was very disappointing. After a few emails back and forth we scheduled a meeting with Pinnacle's sales person at 12:30 PM. We showed up 5 min before the scheduled time and we asked for her. The person at the front desk told us she was in another meeting (which happened to be right there in the lobby) and will be coming to us soon. We waited for 40 min and she did not even bother to say anything to us. I went up to her and asked and she told us to wait as it will be another 20 min????
We left and eventually booked another venue where we got an awesome service!
Even worst, it's been almost 3 weeks and no one bothered to call or try to contact us in any shape or form with any kind of explanation or apology.
If this is how they treat customers when booking the venue I wonder how the whole process would be.
We are very disappointed with Pinnacle, not how a hotel treats their customers.

Proceed with caution
Proceed with caution. Overall, we had a very lovely wedding and everything worked out. However, this venue caused us a lot of stress. The main issue was that the wedding coordinator changed 4-5 times in the span of 1.5 years. So every time a new person was hired, we had to explain our vision all over again. We also had to build our own floorplan as it was difficult for anyone there to set up what we thought was a pretty simple layout. What was most annoying was that only 1 of them actually told us they were leaving; we only found out about the other ones when we tried to email them. The other issue we had was the cost of everything. When we signed our contract, we were told the prices would increase ~5% since we booked early (lesson learned to get that in the contract); it actually ended up being twice that due to their annual increases (we booked right before the increase for that year so we got hit twice). When we tried to talk to the venue about this, they really didn’t care and were honestly pretty rude about it.
The next issue came with the roles and responsibilities of the venue coordinator; we made sure to get it in writing and we confirmed that they would be there to greet all the vendors and show them where to set up. We confirmed the schedule (first vendors showing up at 8am) and thought we were all on the same page. Fast forward to the morning of and no one from the Pinnacle was there to assist. My husband was doing most of the decoration set up for us and noticed no one was there. He asked the front desk twice and ended up calling them after no communication for over an hour (to which they said they didn’t need to be there until 11:00). They also didn’t set up the tables based on the floorplan and my husband and the groomsmen had to fix it (wrong number of people at the tables, etc).
On the positive side, the food was yummy and it is a great space for a wedding. We did our ceremony in 1/3 of the ballroom, the cocktail time in the lobby area on the 2nd floor, and the reception in the other 2/3 of the ballroom. All our guests had a great time and loved that everything was in one place.
I wouldn’t say don’t have your wedding here, but I would day proceed with caution. Get everything in writing and prices fixed in your contract (which we tried to do and they wouldn’t so it might not work for you).Proceed with caution. Our wedding was immaculate
The pinnacle at the pier was truly truly an amazing experience. From the time I got engaged I wanted something with an ocean view and the day time and night time view from this hotel is stunning. As well, they accommodated all our food requests and the food was delicious. I was after a modern ballroom kind of vibe and i definitely think we got that. They accommodated all my requests even for rooftop pics with the city view. The pinnacle at the pier was truly truly an amazing experience. Not the same level of service...
This vendor team was very disorganized. In fact, they were our only vendors to have difficulty meeting their contract and promises. It may be related to the high employee turnover we witnessed in just a year working with the Pinnacle Hotel. Hopefully they can return to the level of service they once had. This vendor team was very disorganized. In fact, they were our only vendors to have difficulty meeting their contract and promises. Covid plans...
The Pinnacle was so flexible as our plans pivoted and changed with Covid. In the end we did a take out picnic for our 10 wedding guests as that was what was legal at the time. Laura was responsive, knowledgable and positive through all the changes - We will definitely recommend the pinnacle and hope to use their services in the future. The Pinnacle was so flexible as our plans pivoted and changed with Covid. Amazing Experience
Our wedding was exceptional at the Pinnacle, everything from the food to the venue was outstanding ! Our wedding coordinator at the hotel, Talia, was very friendly and professional. She made what could have been a stressful time run very smooth and for that, we can’t thank her enough. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue and Talia to anyone for their big day. The rooftop terrace was amazing and we had phenomenal views of downtown Vancouver. Our wedding photographer was able to take some beautiful pictures of us on the dock without even having to leave the venue to take additional photos ( a huge bonus). The food was exceptional, something that our guests were sure to tell us repeatedly. If you’re looking for an amazing venue with great service and top notch food, this should be on your list to view. Our wedding was exceptional at the Pinnacle, everything from the food to the venue was outstanding ! Dream venue!
What an AMAZING venue! This was the second thing I booked because I wanted to book the venue first before I booked any other vendor. They had many different packages that would cater to your budget and needs. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue - waterfront view, mountain view, attractions nearby, everything! My guests talked about the ease of getting around since the Lonsdale Quay was right there and they could easily hop onto the SeaBus to go downtown. What I really liked about this venue compared to the other venues was the guarantee that the entire day was dedicated to our wedding - they don’t book any meetings etc. on the same day as a wedding so that gives you lots of time to set up for any decorations, etc. you have. They gave me a discount code to distribute to my guests which gave the hotel rooms a cheaper price for them. Talia was the coordinator for the weddings and she accommodated us in terms of payment, etc. Although we had chosen a buffet option, the coordinator let us try out the food at the hotel restaurant just so we could know what the quality of the food tasted like. When our wedding finally happened - I was not disappointed - our food, drinks and everything was so, so good. We had gotten the Ruby Buffet option with all inclusive drinks and late night snack. After our wedding, we went to our room and we had complimentary champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries and monogrammed robes. If this is within your budget and you’re able to splurge for a venue, I highly recommend this. Book way in advance !What an AMAZING venue! Fabulous experience!!!!
Got married at The Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier on August 11th 2018. Best decision we made, and we got to meet Talia (The Hotel’s wedding Coordinator). Talia became my go-to-person for all things wedding. Can’t believe how patient she was with answering our several wedding questions. She gave us advice, communicated extremely well, and her warm smile, made our visits and dealings with her very pleasant. The staff was just as wonderful. Food was amazing. Our guests couldn’t stop praising and talking about the food. If you’re on the fence about booking with the The Pinnacle, my husband and I recommend you take that leap of faith. Meet Talia and the fabulous staff. We promise you won’t regret it.Got married at The Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier on August 11th 2018.
