Cara at Rowena's Inn on the River made our day magical!!! She went out of her way and even texted me from her personal phone when there was a blizzard in Harrison. Highly recommend this beautiful location. It is one of our favourite places to stay and now will have memories to last a life time!

Cara and the team at Rowena's Inn were amazing with assisting us postpone our big day until next summer. She was kind and calm during a very stressful time for us. She helped guide us through such a difficult situation, and made us even more excited to celebrate our special day next year at Rowena's. We had our wedding at Rowena’s Inn in Harrison Mills and it was absolutely perfect! Stunning location, amazing set up, and helpful staff!

Rowena’s made our wedding pure magic! We are beyond thrilled with every single detail! Cara the events manager was on top of everything, and so kind and helpful! We can’t wait to go back on anniversaries and stay in their beautiful rustic cabins. We would easily and quickly recommend Rowena’s for any event!!!

The place is absolutely amazing. The backdrop of the mountains, the fall colors, the river and the eagles made were beyond description. The ceremony and the reception were held inside. The intimacy provided from this location made for an amazing night as we shared this special day with family and friends. The food by the culinary staff was amazing. It was better than I ever imagined.

The venue is absolutely beautiful-- honestly, the location is so nice that even without any decor, people would still say 'Wow!'
That being said, I was a little disappointed with how everything was run. If Rowena's wants to be a first class wedding destination, they need to make things a little smoother. Some issues
- No one being able to check in until late- we had to rent an AirBNB nearby for people to get ready. This also continued for our guests staying at the venue. Two friends were not able to check in until 3:30 when our wedding was at 4. And then all the luggage kept getting moved around and no one knew where anything was.
- Bridal suite being the room someone else is staying in. I get that the bridal suite is the nicest for the pictures, and that the cabin is a beautiful spot to stay, but the bridal party getting ready in my sister-in-laws room was awkward and inconvenient. My sister-in-law, husband, and 2 year old niece were displaced for hours and the next morning all my stuff was still in their room.
- Being ill-equipped. I had to buy a steamer because Rowena's didn't have one on site. C'mon. Best Westerns have steamers.
- When you stay at Rowena's you have to book all the rooms, which is fine. The price was higher than we wanted to ask our friends to pay, so we subsidized the cost of the rooms. We sent a detailed list to the front desk explaining that we were put X dollars down and that person y had already sent us money so they would not be paying anything upon check out. It was both in a chart and a list. Upon checking out, everyone was charged the full price. I don't know how much more explicit I could be.

It's a beautiful venue, and these issues aren't huge or game changers. I do not regret choosing the location, I just hope Rowena's is able to iron out these kinks for future brides and grooms.

Rowena's Inn doesn't need an introduction once you see this place. Breath taking. It was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. Cara was responsive & so wonderful to work with. Everyone raved about the food.. it was to die for! Unreal! Everything was just perfect and this place is worth it! The ceremony and reception all on one property, staff included, basic set up of tables, linens, cutlery, glassware. Cara was amazing.
Highly recommend this beautiful location. Once in a lifetime event should be THIS beautiful. Can't wait to visit again!
