The Ashwood is a newly renovated Inn located near the shores of Lake Huron, just a short drive to the historic village of Bayfield's shops and restaurants. It specializes in tent weddings in a beautiful untouched natural wooded setting.

Facilities and capacity

The Ashwood can host outdoor weddings for up to 200 guests. The hotel features an indoor saltwater pool, sauna and on-site bar with a sunny patio.

The perfect venue for the perfect day!

From the moment we walked onto the property we knew we had to get married here! Even though we were looking at the venue in the dead of winter and having our wedding in the middle of summer, the natural beauty of the venue spoke for itself. We loved the concept of having guests come stay for the weekend and being able to take a more laid back approach by spending more time with people. There are a tonne of local vendors to use as well and we were able to incorporate all of these elements. The flexibility of the Ashwood to use vendors we wanted and have the extended time to set up and take down was nothing like we had seen at other "do it yourself" venues.

Everything about the venue was stunning and perfect!!
