Wonderful Wedding Experience
The entire team at the venue was also incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel truly supported every step of the way. It was clear that they genuinely cared about making our day seamless and memorable. Our guests were treated well, the room accommodations were as described and the food was delicious. Great location and hotel for wedding weekend!
We stayed in the Royal Suite and to say that it was the icing on our day would be an understatement. This suite is absolutely breathtaking, we got some of the most incredible photos I could ever ask for and the entire staff made us feel at home during our stay. I can't wait to go back again soon :)

After Chef Christopher Perera graduated from the Culinary Hotel Management Program at Ceylon Hotel School in Colombo, Sri Lanka, he travelled abroad as an apprentice in many luxury hotels located in Sri Lanka, Maldives, and the U.A.E. Chef Perera has accumulated a wealth of expertise throughout his career and had the opportunity to serve Lady Dana, Muhammad Ali, Sheik of UAE, and Kings of the Gulf Region.
Chef has been recognized for his passion and excellence in the kitchen within InterContinental Canadian Hotels by ranking number one among the top chefs for their Iron Chef Competition.
Chef has also has made several appearances on Rogers TV, City T.V. CTV, and ProudFM to promote various events and special occasions at the hotel.
Chef's enthusiasm for food and cooking is evident in his cuisine, as he has an extensive repertoire of recipes to accommodate guests’ requests. In keeping up with the latest food trends, he is always experimenting and developing new dishes. You can be confident that each dish he prepares will be unique and elegant for your special day.
When Chef is not in the kitchen, you will find him playing rugby, gardening, or immersing himself in nature with his family.
