The Gem Event Centre not recommended

Terrible customer service. Terrible response times. Zero flexibility. I would have given zero stars if that was an option. Trying dealing with this group months prior to my daughters wedding was pure agony. Dealing with them weeks leading up to wedding when answers are needed promptly, no response. No response to calls, voice mails, or emails. When trying to work with them during my daughters wedding, it was so frustrating and so disheartening. We are talking about such a special occasion only to have a group of supposed event centre professionals who showed no care or concern. IF it wasn't for our wedding planner and her organization and hard work this would have been a failure. Words cannot express all the stress & frustration The Gem have caused. They have done nothing to compensate even after trying to reach out to ownership and express our dissatisfaction.

Sipper of coffee and craft beer. Wearer of toques and Blundstones. Pup mom. Avid supporter of local food & local business. Part-time backcountry explorer.

My partner and I reside in Banff, with our pup Casey, and spend most of our spare time camping, hiking, and skiing. Hailing from Ontario, and always up for an adventure, I now know I was destined for the Rocky Mountains.

My passion has always been people-focused. With over 10 years in the hospitality & events industry, I was very much attracted to engaging with people, understanding their needs and looking to go above and beyond to fulfill them.

Building and maintaining relationships is what drives my purpose. I can’t wait to connect with you, and help you plan your dream one-of-a-kind wedding or intimate elopement in Banff, Canmore or surrounding areas.
