Absolutely amazing team to work with!
Best Day Ever!
Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the place was, how incredible our food was, and how fun of an atmosphere we had the whole day. During our dinner the staff was so attentive to my husband and I making sure we had enough to drink and eat, and there was even a plate of our passed canapes at our table that we didn't get a chance to try during cocktail hour!
I would give the Timber Barn, and the whole team at the Stella Collective, 10 stars if I could!

We cannot imagine having our wedding anywhere else. The Stella team took amazing care of us from the point we went on the tour, right to the time we left the reception. There was so much love put into this venue, and into our day, I wish we could give a million stars. Our guests complimented every part of the day. We have such a soft spot for this place and so grateful for the entire staff.
People told us to be prepared if things go wrong, but this day was absolutely seamless. You will not be disappointed by this incredible group of people. We will always brag about the Timber Barn♥️
Best day ever!
Working with the TimberBarn team was a dream. The Venue is stunning - the vibe to me is modern-rustic. Doesn't need a lot of decor at all - but of course, you can dress it up or down, and regardless you will have a beautiful day. Many of my guests commented on how much they loved the venue and the FOOD. We went with the Turkey, Short Ribs, and Risotto - all were amazing. We had our ceremony inside as we didn't want to leave t up to chance with the weather, and it was perfect. The dinner service was efficient and lovely as the entire staff is amazing. We got married in the fall (Oct 21, 2022) and it made for stunning photos outside near trees, but also around the town of St. Jacobs. We got married on a Friday which made it less busy in St. Jacobs for photos as well. Including the wedding party and our vendors, we had a total of about 129 people. We originally had more which was going to make the dinner service a bit squishy with a head table and 13 guest tables. Some guests couldn't come last minute and we were able to bring it down to 12 guest tables with one head table - which worked out for us! Our head table had 14 seated and guest tables had 8-10 seated. So if you want a bigger wedding with more than 130 let's say (obviously talk to the Timber Team) it may be a bit squishy. That's the only "con" I can think of - but wouldn't really call it a con ;). Our coordinator Amanda was great and helped guide us through the process without making us feel overwhelmed - she made sure the day was perfect. My husband and I truly had the best day of our lives at Timber and got tonnes of great feedback from our guests. Couldn't recommend more!

The perfect team and the perfect venue for a perfect day!
Our coordinator was Piper and she made the planning process a breeze. She was always quick to respond and was so easy to work with while planning our day. Any member of the Stella Collective team that we interacted with (or for that matter our guests interacted with) were very professional, kind, personable, and someone who wanted the day to go as smoothly as possible. It was appreciated by all and we received many compliments about our choice of venue.
Another thing we received a mountain of compliments on was was the food by Gilt Catering. To say it was exceptional is an understatement. It was by far the best food we had ever had at a wedding and to be able to be consistent with such a large group was impressive. They were also very accommodating to allergies and Piper (our coordinator) spoke to their chef directly to avoid anything that had an allergy ingredient.
If you’re thinking of booking the Timber Barn (or really any of the Stella Collective venues) for your big day, I could’t recommend them enough. At the end of the day it was the Stella Collective team that was so amazing to work with and who made us feel so special throughout the entire wedding planning process.

Hi! We are so excited to meet you!
We are Trella, Stephanie and Kristi - your Timber Barn team! If you didn't already know, we also own Cellar 52, Gilt Catering and the soon to be opened Hotel 52. We are a women run organization and we absolutely love what we do. We are a tight knit, TEAM. Seriously... decisions, meetings, events, follow ups, we do them together - communication is the key to our success.
We are a family (literally). We love to travel together, go out for dinner, help each other move, brainstorm, attend family functions, drink wine and literally just spend time together. While doing this all, work is always on the mind, but in the best way possible! We don't turn off, ever. We are here to show up, for our clients.
We follow trends, stay up to date on the changing world and we are committed to bettering our community as a whole. While that is all awesome and important, but what's really important here is our absolute love and devotion to the wedding industry. It was quite a journey through hospitality to land in our "forever home" of the wedding world. We have a lot of experience in restaurants and events but nothing gives us the thrill and sense of accomplishment that planning a wedding from start to finish does.
Our commitment to our current and future clients is to be present, attentive and communicative with you through the entire planning process. Planning weddings is NOT easy, you do it once (or twice, hey, it happens) - we do it hundreds of times a year. Our collective goal is to make it fun and easy for you, so you get to actually ENJOY the ride. We promise to build and maintain a team that is thoughtful, kind, talented and fun! As we grow, our team will grow with us, but we will always be sure to maintain our core values.
