Too many upsetting surprises

There were a number of reasons why I was disappointed with the outcome of our wedding as a result of the actions taken by the Artscape team.

Throughout the wedding planning process, different surprises would come up that were not mentioned at the time of booking. There was a farmer's market that would block delivery access, and we were told that deliveries could not be made until 2PM on our wedding day.. but we weren't told of that until a month later. So we asked to make deliveries the day before, and Artsacpe asked us to pay hundreds of dollars to have a unionized staff on site to accommodate our request. We were lucky that after complaining to the site coordinating, she was willing to oversee our delivery herself and avoid the added costs.

The worst of surprises wasn't until 1 week before the wedding when they realized that they had been looking at my floor plan upside down, and THEN tell me that the entrance in which my cermeony takes place is actually used by a neighboring theatre....where the theatre guests will be walking through to get to the shared bathrooms. After days of stressing and many emails later (as they would not pick up the phone) they finally agreed to rent drapes at their cost (that they originally wanted me to pay for...) to create a corridor so that our wedding guests would not see strangers walking through our space.

On the day of the wedding, more surprises. The video that was supposed to be played during our ceremony did not have audio, and halfway through the video it just froze. They also put the wrong drapes up in the wrong places and instead of using sheers that were meant for the backdrop of our wedding ceremony they used tarp-like curtains that were poorly hung on crooked pipes. They also told our decorator to take down my round wedding arch; and only until after she convinced them to keep it did they add cables from the ceiling that were poorly tied....It should be noted that this arch was always part of the floor plan, and we had actually shown it to the site coordinator the day right before the wedding when I was making deliveries, and the coordinator told me it looked fine and didn't need suspending cables. She suggested I buy some planters to hold it in place; which my father in-law had prepared for the day of the wedding....until we arrived to see the poorly tied cables at the top....
