Built in 1847, Waverley Place Museum boasts a lavish Edwardian interior including furnished period rooms and is surrounded by extensive gardens and grounds. Nestled in the heart of beautiful Bowmanville, Ontario, this historically designated home is a picturesque, historic venue ideal for intimate wedding ceremonies and wedding photography. Small ceremonies can be held inside the restored parlour or outside on the large veranda or surrounding grounds.
Waverley Place Museum offers a beautiful and unique backdrop for your special union. Ceremonies of 15 people or smaller can be held in our historic parlour, or outdoors on our expansive grounds if you have a larger guest list, up to 100 people. The venue features multiple interior photography spaces, including a furnished period dining room, an exquisite staircase and upper hallway, as well as a stunning glass conservatory.
