Located in beautiful Stratford, Ontario, Hughson Hall Bed & Breakfast is an elegant venue that specializes in creating memorable weddings and events outside in the courtyard surrounded by gardens or anywhere on their large property. This mansion wedding venue boasts Victorian Italianate architechture in over a 6000 sq.ft home that was built in 1875. In 2017 the home was purchased by the current owners Debra and George Mackie doing many renovations and upgrades to the property inside and out.

Facilities and capacity

The facilities found in this wedding venue include a grand entrance with a stunning staircase complemented with red carpeting and many beautiful antiques throughout the house which give it it's historic feel. The house consists of 2 large guest parlours, formal dining room and large bedrooms with a shared Butler's Pantry. These facilities have a capacity for up to 5 overnight guests for an intimate wedding. There is also a large solarium (sunroom) with a guest capacity of 25 to 35. Larger weddings can be held on the property with ample space for tented areas.

Hughson Hall Bed & Breakfast offers couples wedding packages which are ideal for very small weddings, elopements and other events. The services they offer include a 2-night stay for 4 people, wine and cheese upon arrival, room service with coffee/tea/juice one hour before breakfast, 3 course gourmet breakfast, spa appointment with gift certificate, bouquets & boutonnieres for the wedding party, wedding cake, marriage performed by licensed officiant, photos of the ceremony and a stand up reception to follow.
