Miller Lash House is a stunning venue with so many wonderful features. The location is both scenic and peaceful, providing a beautiful setting for a rustic wedding. Myra and Alyssa were true highlights of our experience—they were exceptionally organized, offering clear 3-month and 1-month timelines, and always responsive to emails. Their warm professionalism made them a joy to work with throughout the planning process. The free parking and convenient location were also great perks that made it easy for our guests.

There are a few considerations to keep in mind when booking. While the venue is undeniably lovely, some additional costs, such as heating and twinkle light rentals, were not included. Assistance with tear-down at the end of the night was also not part of the package, though we had hoped this would be. The requirement to use preferred caterers, while ensuring quality, limited our options, and the pricing for some services was higher than anticipated.
Additionally, there was a fee for using a secondary location on the same grounds, and the chairs and tables, though functional, felt a bit more rustic than we expected given the price point.

It would be a nice gesture if U of T alumni discounts were available at any time and not just on weekdays, especially since my husband attended U of T for both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

Overall, Miller Lash House is a beautiful and charming venue with fantastic staff, but it’s helpful to be aware of the potential extras when planning your budget.

We loved having our wedding at the Miller Lash House last spring! It is a hidden gem! We received so many compliments on how beautiful our wedding was. What is nice about Miller Lash House is that the majority of our local guests have not attended a wedding or function at Miller Lash House, which made our wedding even more special as it was a new place and experience for our guests and for us as the wedding couple. The staff is lovely, very professional, very accommodating, and just a joy to work with. The price is affordable, and there is lots of opportunity for personalizing the space with your own decor. The staff was very accommodating when we asked to bring in a caterer that was not part of their package. The process leading up to and during the wedding was very smooth. The venue provides everything you need, including the wall drapings for the tent, chandeliers, dance floor, and twinkle lights. We didn't need to, but we decided to add a vinyl design to the dance floor, and we rented a bar instead of using theirs and rented chairs and tableware. They also went above and beyond helping our guests who needed assistance avoiding stairs at the venue. Definitely would recommend having your wedding here! It was a very special day!
