We had our wedding at Oakview Terrace last week and it was the most wonderful experience! The venue manager, May, was a dream to work with. She was absolutely amazing, very accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day would go smoothly. We didn't have a wedding planner, so May took extra care to make sure everything was coordinated. We had a traditional Chinese menu and the food was delicious. The staff were all very kind and helped whenever they could. The bartenders were awesome. The venue itself is the perfect combination of cute and elegance, which is why we wanted to have our wedding here. Having the chapel, reception hall and garden all in once place just made things so much easier. The heart shaped pond/lake added so much beauty to the venue as well. Everything just worked out so well. All the guests were surprised by how beautiful the place is as none of them had heard about Oakview Terrace before. This place is truly a hidden gem. I would recommend this venue, and May, to everyone.

Oakville Terrace checked all these boxes and we were completely blown away at our first meeting by the breathtakingly beautiful, gorgeous, and well-maintained buildings and grounds. Pictures just don't do it justice. It was also the perfect size for our wedding of 90 guests. The number one compliment I heard among our families and friends was how stunning the venue is. Even my uncle who normally has very little to say is still bringing up how much he loved the venue at our weekly family dinner.

What I loved most about working with May and Denver was that they were straight to the point, completely transparent regarding pricing, and flexible with our requests. The scenery/grounds are beautiful, and Chef Raj's food is absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, everything else was a bust. Original coordinators Alessia and Grace suddenly disappeared at the end of July, leaving the new coordinator May with an empty file and none of our details a month before our wedding. The new coordinator May had good intentions but ultimately did not deliver on the quality of service we expected. On the day of, service of waitstaff was awful - inexperienced waitstaff misled our guests to think we had a mini bar instead of the open bar, didn't know how to serve basic drinks, and then butchered our wedding cake into tiny squares of frosting or cake. Tried addressing our concerns and asked for some sort of compensation, at least for the open bar, but they refused to take any responsibility and blamed it on our planners. Disrespectful and unprofessional! I would not recommend until a complete staff update.

We really enjoyed hosting our wedding at Oakview Terrace. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous in the summer and many of our guests had lots of compliments about the grounds. We mainly picked OT for the adorable chapel where we got married. It's so picturesque and beautiful! We did appreciate the affordability of the catering as well. Definitely better priced than some other venues which gouge you for all of your cash. They were flexible in making sure we were able to afford our package. Sylvia was wonderful from start to end. She was attentive to every detail and made us feel secure that we weren't going to get scammed into paying surprise fees either. Overall, we loved having our wedding at this venue. its amazing that this was our first choice and even after seeing other venues this was still #1 for us - beautiful garden venue, intimate chapel for ceremony, modern upgrades in the reception hall, delicious food, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. the bridal suite was super spacious and handy, we are so glad we chose this venue for our wedding day! oakview staff really went the extra mile to make sure our event went without a hitch and everyone had a magical evening :) thank you !!!!!

New owners need to step up their game. The grounds were left to grow over with weeds, not ideal for photos! Dinner service, very slow, unorganized - if you order a vegetarian meal, be prepared to eat alone. This meal was served first at the table and was a good 15-20 minutes before the rest of the table was served - this was for all courses! Service is unprofessional - plates were removed from the table before guest were finished. They didn’t even ask if you were done. Served coffee by picking up your cup with their hand over the cup and all fingers around the brim. I don’t want to drink where your fingers have been! Very unorganized while serving dinner - at times there were 8 serve staff buzzing around the table and an average of 3 people handled your plate in front of your before it was placed. If felt like “dinner and a show” - a comedy horror!
