My wife Cassie and I got married at The CAPE in September 2023. From the planning stages to actual wedding day, Jake and the team at The CAPE have created a true gem in Prince Edward County.
We had 106 guests and it was a perfect amount of people for the size of the venue. The four rooms on-site at The CAPE were ideal for family to stay at - extremely spacious and tastefully decorated.
When it came to vendors to work with, The CAPE had no shortage of great ones to contact. We used a local A/V vendor who had experience working at The CAPE, and they couldn't have done a better job.
We held our ceremony on the venue grounds, the dinner in a large white outdoor tent on the front lawn, and our reception in the funky Odyssey room which we covered from head to toe in tinsel.
If you're thinking about having your wedding here, you can stop - this is the spot. -

Elizabeth and Jake made us feel at ease the moment we toured the venue. We fell in love with pictures of The Cape online and it was even more beautiful in pictures. Elizabeth was extremely responsive and professional in emails and it made the stress of wedding planning melt away. She addressed every question I had with so much thought and detail. On the day of the wedding Jake made sure everything went flawlessly and it was even more perfect than we could imagine. Our guests were completely blown away by the venue, it was such a beautiful space and created such a cozy intimate ambiance. We could not recommend The Cape enough!The CAPE's reply:

We had a microwedding at the Cape in June 2024, and we really are happy how everything was organized. Both Jake and Elizabeth were very responsive, helpful and flexible during our wedding and the planning phase. They provided great recommendations for vendors in the area as well as provided ideas for the event. We could not have thought of a better team to work with to make our day very special. It was definitely one for the books and we will make sure to come back to celebrate our anniversary. -

Our experience with The CAPE was absolutely perfect. The venue is absolutely stunning and no detail has been missed, but more than that, Elizabeth and Jake and their entire team were above and beyond incredible. All of our guests raved about how amazing the staff were the entire day.
We had a bit of a unique set up to our wedding day with a less traditional format, but Jake and Elizabeth executed everything exactly as we imagined it. They were a dream to work with and I wish we could go back and re-live the day over and over again!
We are so thankful this is where we chose to get married. We will never forget how amazing our day was and so much of that is thanks to Jake, Elizabeth and the amazing team at The CAPE! -

Where do we even begin!? From the moment we walked into the stunning mansion, we knew we were right at home. Elizabeth and Jake quickly became family as we planned our beautiful wedding day. Our guests are still talking about how perfect the venue was and how much fun they had dancing the night away with us. We couldn't have asked for a better team to help bring out wedding dreams to life! The enitre team at The CAPE are so warm and welcoming. We knew we could trust them to bring our vision to life with numerous long discussions during the planning process in great detail of exactly how and where we wanted things throughout the day. The small details of having County Candle Co essential oils in the room and candles buring on the main level of the house, delicious breakfasts in the Mark Twain Room and the crowd pleasing local beverages served during our wedding day. We can't thank the team enough for playing such a massive role in our best day ever! Looking forward to many more visits in the years to come! Getting married in the bride's hometown was such a dream come true allowing us to showcase the beauty of Prince Edward County to friends and family from all over North America!The CAPE's reply:

How can I give 10 stars?! My goodness! Where do I begin? The Cape is an absolute gem and what made our wedding SO special. So glad I listened to my gut and stayed the day before giving me the most relaxing, soul fulfilling day of relaxation. On the wedding day, I got ready at The Cape where all details were utter perfection. The staff at The Cape from the moment we booked to the moment we left made sure each aspect of our stay was exceptional. Everything was infused with intention, we felt so taken care of. They remembered the details I didn't even think of and had it handled with perfect execution. I cannot thank The Cape enough for making our special day truly unforgettable and STRESS FREE. Every one of our guests were in awe of the space, the details and overall vibe of the day. Now I didn’t even mention the STUNNING rooms, divine breakfast in bed (with gluten free options!) and the most incredible energy of the entire building. Energy doesn’t lie! This space is absolute magic. My wedding was so incredible it makes me want to get married again, but only if it is at the Cape. Book it, it's worth it and your day will be better than anticipated - guaranteed. -

The perfect venue!
It is the perfect Hollywood glamour in the country side! Jake, Liz and the team make you feel like absolute royalty, every detail is thought out, staying there is out of a movie. Having a wedding there is magical! We could not recommend enough, the venue is unique and gorgeous and was able to great such different but cohesive experiences for us as a couple and our guests. The location is central but still able to be private and intimate, guests can stay within walking distance easily between the hotels and airbnbs which was a huge plus for us. The team worked super well with our other vendors which was awesome! We had the best weekend of our lives and could not recommend the CAPE enough! Thank you!!!The CAPE's reply:
