Hiring Blackcomb Helicopters for our elopement was one of the best decisions we made. The booking process was smooth and easy, and they were kind and accommodating. Filling out the waivers and check in process was smooth and our pilot was AMAZING! He went above and beyond to give us such a memorable and unique experience and was exceptionally knowledgeable of the area we flew over. We cannot recommend them more for anyone who has even thought about using them for their elopement or wedding!

We traveled from Ontario to capture our engagement in the mountains; one of the best decisions we ever made!
It was foggy/rainy the whole week; and we were so fortunate that Blackcomb Helicopters was able to accommodate our request to move the date to a Saturday. The weather was perfect!

The staff and pilot were friendly, flexible, responsive, and absolutely amazing to work with! And the views - stunning!

We absolutely recommend a helicopter excursion/photoshoot. We are fortunate to not only have captured our love in the most scenic place, but were able to build a memory that will last our lifetime!

Blackcomb helicopters made our wedding ceremony the most memorable experience of our life. They were informative and made sure everyone felt safe, including my 91 year old grandmother who flew with us. The best way to get married, hands down!

I have had the privilege of flying with Blackcomb Heli many times over the years and every time I am blown away by the experience. As a Whistler wedding officiant and all-inclusive elopement planner, I have found Blackcomb Helicopters to be very easy to work with, their team is warm and welcoming, the pilots and guides are amazing, and the terrain we fly couple's into is nothing short of spectacular. There is no grander cathedral than an alpine wedding! Highly recommended!

We booked our heli elopement well in advance and were looking forward to it. Per my previous discussions with the Company, we were expecting to receive a call a day before the elopement related to the weather conditions in case the weather didn’t look good.. However, we didn’t receive any call. On the day of our elopement, we received a call a couple hours before our flight saying the weather looks good so far but in case anything changes we will call you at 2pm and if we don’t call, it’s expected that we are good for the fight. This was surprising as on the 1st place since we didn’t hear anything from them until a couple hours before the flight instead of the day before.. Later, we didn’t receive any call for them but since I wanted to make sure, I called them at 2.05pm to ask if we are good for the flight. They told us they will call us back if weather is bad in next 5mins as the pilot will be updating in next few mins.. We didn’t hear anything so we left for our flight scheduled at 2.40pm.. When we reached the parking lot at 2.30pm they called us saying the fight is cancelled.. This was very sudden and disappointing given we made all efforts to make sure we are good and we were literally outside ready to board the flight for our elopement.. They did not offer any alternative options such as dates/ times etc even though they knew the booking was for an elopement. We still had a great & beautiful wedding at a different location and made it all work out at the very last minute. The weather was clear and sunny the whole day and days after and we felt like they cancelled on a 10mins notice without any reason or alternative options in terms of timing. We will go for a heli tour on our anniversary next year but definitely NOT with blackcomb helicopters. We DON’T recommend anyone planning any elopement or engagement with blackcomb helicopters since they can ruin your plans any minute even when you have already arrived to fly.

Pilot took videos while we were up there for us that exceeded our expectations allowing us to focus on our ceremony & time with our photographer. We did a first dance up there and it was such a special moment.

The staff were very responsive with my emails, and were able to quickly answer any questions I had in the planning process. Our pilot was great and had answers to any questions we had when we were in the air about the surrounding landscape.
