Assiniboine Park offers six different venues for you to choose from to celebrate your wedding ceremony and/or reception.
The Leaf
- Banquet Hall: 300 seated, 450 standing
- Mezzanine: 200 people
The Pavilion
- The Pavilion Atrium: 100 people seated or 130 people standing
- The Pavilion Galleries: 48 people seated or 100 people standing
Qualico Family Centre
- Park Café & Tamarack Room combined: 180 people seated or 220 people standing
- Park Café: 80 people seated or 120 people standing
Assiniboine Park Zoo
- Gateway to the Arctic: 90 people seated or 250 standing
- Tundra Grill: 100 people seated or 140 people standing
Leo Mol Sculpture Garden
- Ceremony set-up: 84 folding chairs with standing room for additional guests for a total of 150 people
Gardens at The Leaf
- Performance Garden: 200 people seated, 15 standing onstage
- Seasonal Garden: Details available in spring 2023
- Kitchen Garden: Details available in spring 2023
- The Grove: 250+ people

Polar Bears were at our wedding!
Great food, breathtaking views of animals, everyone loved it. No light show as promised due to technical difficulties and a pay per consumption non-alcoholic menu (pop, juice etc) only downsides. It was magical!

Leo Mol was Beautiful
I absolutely fell in love with our venue. I knew I wanted to be married there before I was even engaged. The arbor is surprisingly a hidden gem, many of our family didn't know it existed. 10/10 would recommend.
Communication could be better, but thats on both sides hahah. I was not exactly the easiest to get ahold of, but once everything was sorted, things were great. The staff was amazing, set up was amazing, everything was perfect. They even offered to play with/watch the kids during the ceremony if needed which means so much to someone with young children.

Classy & Coordinated
It's clear that APC does a lot of weddings - they have timelines and forms and rules to follow, but at the same time, coordinators (like Kyla) are available and responsive and help your wedding have the personal and intimate touch you need.

Pavillion at Assiniboine Park
After having some issues with our initial event coordinator we asked to be switched to another one provided by Assiniboine Park. The new coordinator, Kyla, was wonderful. Very prompt in returning any emails or phone calls, answered any questions and did a wonderful job!

Winnipeg's Hidden Gem - Gateway to the Arctic
We found this venue by accident and are so lucky we did! Not many people can say they had Polar Bears and Harbour Seals at their wedding. All this for what we feel, is well below the average cost of Wedding Venues in Winnipeg. Though there are a few restrictions which don't make much sense, the staff more than made up for any shortcomings by being absolutely professional and helpful throughout the process. Our guests rave about the venue and food still to this day. We highly recommend this venue to anyone tired of the typical ballroom wedding!

Quick and quiet
The Fire place was a cozy background during our union at the qualico family shelter. This park will be around hopefully forever for our future family generations to visit where our married bliss first bloomed.
