A perfect venue that doesn’t require any further decorating!

The Bloedel Conservatory was the most perfect and intimate way to have our ceremony. Not only were staff very communicative and timely with answering questions, but the venue itself is perfect for any couple looking for a unique and memorable event space.
We invited our guests to come in before the ceremony and it set the mood for an adventurous night. Everything from the tropical plants, lighting and birds at the venue were stunning and that’s without us doing any setup or decorating! So anyone looking for a venue that is in itself a showstopper, this is the place!

An Unforgettable Wedding at Bloedel Conservatory

We recently had our wedding at the Bloedel Conservatory, and it was truly an incredible experience! We wanted a simple yet beautiful venue, and this place exceeded all our expectations. The lush greenery, warm atmosphere, and vibrant birds made for a stunning and intimate setting.

The staff were fantastic—friendly, accommodating, and eager to make our day special. They even provided additional lighting to enhance the gorgeous flora and went out of their way to introduce us to some of the beautiful birds, including a cockatoo that made for amazing photos!

Our guests were just as enchanted as we were. Many commented on how every photo looked stunning simply because every backdrop was filled with tropical plants and...

And on top of everything, the price was unbeatable. If you're looking for a unique, affordable, and breathtaking venue for a wedding or special event, I cannot recommend Bloedel Conservatory enough. Our wedding was perfect, and this venue played a huge part in making it so.

Beautiful venue, amazing service

Their staff Maria and Tessa are amazing. We had a wonderful wedding there. Everything is very beautiful. Price is reasonable. Highly recommend.

October wedding ceremony

We had our ceremony at the end of October in the conservatory and it was amazing! Our guests loved coming a little early and getting to see the birds and plants and it was a beautiful spot for pictures. Because of the time of year and when the sun set the conservatory did get darker than we expected. But it had a really cool ambiance and made the ceremony feel more intimate.

Amazing Location & Staff for our Wedding Ceremony!

We were absolutely delighted with our experience. The team was incredibly responsive and transparent, making everything straightforward. We felt completely at ease, and everything went smoothly, contributing to our wonderful wedding experience. The location was perfect for both the ceremony and wedding photos, and our guests praised it as well.

We wanted to stick to our budget, and Bloedel made that possible while still providing a stunning venue. We are immensely grateful for that. Plus, it’s a place we can always return to and cherish the memories of our special day.

Wedding 2024

We had been to the conservatory a few times previously and loved it, so we were extremely excited to see they offer the space as a wedding venue! It was definitely affordable compared to other places and it was just perfect. You don't even need to bring your own decor because the beautiful flowers and foliage are your decorations! The staff were incredibly attentive and responsive when communicating. So friendly and welcoming as well! One gentleman greeted us with a cockatiel on his arm!
Birds were flying around us and we were even graced with a loud screetch from the African grey parrot!

Such a great experience to be able to wander inside the conservatory when it's closed...

Spring Elopement

Magical venue

Bloedel is amazing. It is full of nature and plants so you don't have to decorate it. It is warm and indoors, so you don't have to stress about weather. It is convenient to get to so it is super easy for you and all your guests.

Everyone had a wonderful time and thought it was beautiful.

We did dinner at seasons in the park after, which was super convenient (and delicious).

Best for Wedding Ceremony!

We were looking for a reasonably priced venue in Vancouver for a ceremony for less than ten people and Bloedel checked off all the boxes. We looked a variety of options including City Hall, outdoor gardens, and some restaurants and found that Bloedel was the best value by far. It was not much more expensive than City Hall and offered a lot more in terms of the scenery and we had the venue for longer. It was great that Seasons in the Park was next door so an easy choice for a dinner afterwards to celebrate. Bloedel was quick to answer all our questions and the process was straightforward to book! Our ceremony was in the evening slot from 4:15 to 6:15PM and lined up perfectly with golden hour so our outdoor photos overlooking the city are gorgeous, along with our photos inside the conservatory. We liked that the venue didn't need decorating given the atmosphere and it's standing room only so all we did was bring a linen for the signing table and kept it simple.
