About

Imagine saying ‘I do’ on a mountaintop surrounded by alpine peaks, centuries-old forest and the sight of a million dancing lights in the city far, far below. From an intimate gathering to a spectacular party of 500+, weddings at Grouse Mountain are pure magic. Receptions can take place in summer or winter, outdoors under a marquis tent or inside one of our many reception areas, including Grouse Mountain’s grand Chalet. Happily ever after starts here.

Facilities and capacity

Grouse Mountain offers 5 venue spaces with beautiful Alpine features, rich wooden detailing, stylish décor and large patios with exquisite views. Whether you’re looking for an intimate reception space for 40 guests or a large outdoor event under the stars for 300 guests Grouse Mountain has something to offer. The Timber room, Altitudes Bistro and The Observatory are the most popular venues on the mountain that can host from 20 to 150 guests for a wedding reception. Grouse Mountain's outdoor locations such as the Mountaintop Plaza and Georgia Strait Lookout Ceremony Location offer guests a true mountain experience being in the nature and with surrounding views of Vancouver. The outdoor locations can host from 50 to 300 guests.

The perfect natural backdrop to a heavenly day.

Alpine peaks, a shimmering inlet and the stunning city could be your canvas. Adding the world-famous scenery of Grouse Mountain to your photographs will provide even more beauty to your celebration. Stand beside snow-capped peaks, kiss within a field of vibrant wildflowers or pose on the grassy area of the Georgia Strait Lookout to capture a panoramic shot of the entire city. Or the more adventurous can create their own view opportunities by arriving by helicopter or taking a leisurely chairlift to the Peak.
