Located in Port Alberni, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, McLean Mill Historic Park provides a unique setting alongside a National Historic Site. Facilities and Capacity

The facilities at McLean Mill Historic Park include on-site camping, the Great Hall, Village Courtyard, and Three-Tiered Forested Deck along with the potential of outdoor services within the Historic Site itself for an additional fee. These versatile facilities have a capacity for holding up to 80-90 guests indoors (outdoors many more). Please note, that our indoor and outdoor event capacity will be limited to BC Government's current COVID Health Orders. Please contact us if you are interested in hosting a reception and/or dinner inside to make sure we can find a safe solution for everybody with regards to group size and regulations.

Their dedicated event coordinator is on hand to ensure that every detail of your celebration of love is accounted for. Their wedding packages include a variety of options such as your choice of ceremony location, use of a historic building for pre-ceremony preparations, and security services.

History

Established in 1924 by Robert Barlett Mclean, McLean Mill was registered as a National Historic Site of Canada in 1989. This former sawmill and logging operation is a surviving example of the early to mid-20th century logging and lumber industry in British Columbia. With original machinery, this venue steeps its guests in history.
