History
This location used to be a strategic point for the French troops to promote trade and protect the road to Montreal. Later, in the early 1700s, it was transformed into shelter for the men. It then became a wheat grains grinder until 1906, when Jean Langevin ran the mill to produce flour. Steve Steinman bought the facility in 1967 to produce buckwheat cereal. However, in the early 1980s, the hall served as a tourist site. In 1995, the building became a place for receptions and celebrations, as it remains today.
