We had a wedding planner, Nicky from One and Only Events, who worked with the venue. While i only needed to speak with Stanley Park Pavilion for payments, they were extremely helpful and easy to work with.

We couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding! The breathtaking scenery, elegant decor, and flawless attention to detail created the ideal backdrop for our big day. The venue staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, and their professionalism and warmth made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free.

Our guests were in awe of the beauty of the space, and we received endless compliments on how stunning the venue was. The beauty of the building made our ceremony even more elegant.

We held our wedding in Jun this year. I would highly recommend this place. Every staff member is super helpful and responsive. Although we received a sudden notification about garden maintenance (by the park) a few weeks before our wedding, which greatly annoyed us, The manager Buket responded quickly, helped us to negotiate with the park and provided us with many alternative solutions. The event coordinator Seren and all F&B operation team members were so nice and helpful on our event day. Thank you all guys for making our wedding perfect.

Where do we even begin? Our wedding would not have been at all possible without the incredible hard work, dedication and thoughtfulness of the team at Stanley Park Pavilion - especially Buket. From our first meeting and consultation about our wedding day, Buket and the entire team at SPP skillfully and masterfully executed our vision; they were an absolute dream to work with!

Everything about planning our wedding was seamless - Buket ensured that no questions were left unasked or detail left unaddressed. SPP were accommodating and flexible in making sure that our event was not only perfectly planned, but also unique and personal to who we are, what we wanted our wedding celebration to be about, and how we wanted the entire day to feel. We could not have asked for a better partner in making our day incredibly special.

Some additional thoughts that we thought we would share:
The SPP is an absolutely wonderful venue - it has the perfect blend of iconic heritage elements mixed with beautifully modern updates. The entire space is just amazing!
The garden ceremony could not have been more perfect. SPP, and its partners with the Vancouver Parks & Recreation Board, do an outstanding job keeping the lawn and gardens in pristine condition - the attention to detail in designing and growing the seasonal flower beds were simply perfect.
The food and bar at the wedding were second-to-none - everyone of our guests commented that their meal was utterly delicious. We opted for the buffet which was very easy to customize to our particular tastes and preferences - there were plenty of options to choose from. SPP also offered an excellent selection of local beers and wines.
All of the service team at SPP were exceptionally friendly and hugely professional - they provided exemplary service throughout the event, from the initial set-up, throughout the ceremony, the cocktail and formal receptions, and during clean-up/take-down. We cannot thank them enough for making the entire day so wonderful!

A final comment about Buket: we are so incredibly grateful for all of the personal touches that she effortlessly showed us throughout the planning of our wedding, and on our wedding day itself. Buket went above-and-beyond, to say the least: she got to know us as people and thoughtfully went through every detail of our ceremony and wedding reception. Buket was professional, friendly and invested in making sure that our event was perfect. We could not have asked for a better partner in planning and executing our wedding.

We will never forget our wedding at the SPP - we could not recommend the SPP more!

Our wedding ceremony at the garden and then the coctail reception at the Pavilion was absolutely remarkable with Buket and her team. First of all, the Stanley Park Pavilion is the most beautiful place for a wedding reception. The white chairs that were set up on the grass, the flowers and the red cedar trees around the pavilion all make the venue a megical dream place itself.
We went through all the details at the rehearsal a couple days before the event. Everything went very smoothly and as planned on the wedding day. Buket also helped us during the planning stage by recommending the best commisioners in Vancouver. The other unforgettable gesture came from the food coordinator Ayşegül. She provided some canapes and drink - champaıgn and Perrier in the bridal room so that we can eat after the reception is over. We were busy with our guests, taking photos and we did not have any chance to eat the food. It was a very thoughtful gesture. We felt cared for and looked after. I can’t thank enough the team for making our special day extra special for us and for our guests. Two of our friends were inspired by the amazing service and they might show up in the near future.

There are no words to describe how terribly unprofessional the management team is for this venue.

A huge thank you to Buket, Shawn, and Doug for turning what was supposed to be a fun and exciting time planning a wedding, into a traumatic event. A job well done!

The easiest thing to note was how incredibly professional and accommodating the staff were at SPP. Buket, the event sales manager, is superwoman. When there was anything we wanted to change, from our rehearsal dinner, food garnishes due to allergies, floor plan, scheduling, you name it, her answer was always "Yes, we can do anything for you". She was both super responsive and supportive to all our needs.

The venue was the perfect location for our wedding. It was stunning both inside and out and was perfect for our outdoor ceremony, then indoor cocktail hour and reception. The inside was a beautiful clean white blank canvas that made it easy for us to customize and create the dream wedding we had always envisioned. The venue staff were truly impeccable during set-up, the wedding and clean-up. The day ran perfectly on-time from their end as they took care of everything behind the scenes that we barely noticed.

After the wedding, we received a lot of compliments from our guests being very impressed with the delicious food and their admiration for the beautifully elegant venue. We would highly recommend trying to book this venue for your wedding, as the service from the staff here is second to none, and not to mention the beautiful photos you can get from inside and outside the venue.

It was a pretty smooth process considering that we had less than a year to plan our wedding! We went with the outdoor garden at the Pavilion and it was an amazing choice. Our guests were really surprised by how beautiful the garden is and helps us out as we don't have to worry so much about decorating!

Stanley park pavilion is a great location choice if you want to have an outdoor garden wedding! Both the main lawn and the indoor ballroom are beautiful in itself and don't require too many decorations. We truly had a beautiful ceremony last June 2022! SPP also had a great covid-19 policy that was flexible, allowing you to rebook within a year or re-use your event credit for a different event later on which we never had to use thankfully but it gave us peace of mind!

The food we tasted was delicious at both the tasting and on our wedding day. The service of the food was great and not disruptive! However there were a few hiccups while working with them and these included: 1) losing our invoice 2 months after having paid the deposit and receiving no follow-up until I personally contacted them 2) the constant handing over to different events managers made us feel like our needs may not truly be communicated as they were the first time which did result in various surprises the day of (i.e., no bread/coffee/tea served with dinner which was on the menu when we signed the contract; our cake being served to all guests had it not been for my planners who mentioned to save it for us and immediate family as there were already desserts during dinner, and overcharging for drinks which were not communicated properly about how we were to be billed but has now been resolved by SPP. The mic had also malfunctioned in the middle of our ceremony and reception and we had hoped this was something taken care of prior to the event but thankfully our DJ brought extra mics.

They also did take a while to correspond to us throughout the planning process and when we asked them which events manager would my planners be coordinating with the day of, we were told that this newly hired assistant manager would be but not the second events manager we were passed on to. In the end, they did work with us to resolve the billing issues and were professional in doing so.

We still had a beautiful wedding and do recommend them for their great location, food, atmosphere, and professionalism.

We planned our wedding remotely (from Hong Kong and San Francisco) as we were unable to travel due to COVID before the wedding. The Stanley Park Pavilion staff, Buket and Anj, were super accommodating and got us to do virtual site visits and we basically made the decision through emails and video chats. The team was really responsive during the preparation period despite all the time difference. We arrived Vancouver just 3 weeks before the wedding to finalize our food and beverage menus and to see the venue in person (and it was even better than how we imagined)! The team was also able to re-create two of our favourite cocktails that weren't on their usual menu and our guests loved it!

On our wedding day, it was drizzling but we really wanted to do our wedding ceremony as planned. Thank you Stanley Park Pavilion staff for setting up everything in the rain, and also lending us umbrellas for our harpist and cellist last minute! The rain stopped miraculously at the start of the ceremony so everything went perfectly as we planned. Our guests had an amazing time - FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!!
