The story of our wedding

Well, it was a long 1.5 years of ups and downs!!

We got engaged on December 27, 2019, and we're incredibly eager to find a venue right away! We had seen several locations but one caught our eyes the most - Elora Mill!

Through the hardships of COVID, the Elora Mill team had helped us get through any and all hiccups that came along the way. At first in Spring of 2021, we had thought we might cancel and/or reschedule, but as the time got closer to our wedding date, the Elora Mill team had high hopes that our wedding would still be a go! They always kept our spirits up, even at times when it seemed like our wedding wouldn't happen.

The month of September finally came, and we were so excited for our wedding day! Everything was planned out and ready to go and we were so eager to just walk down that aisle and say our "I do's"!

For the weekend of the wedding, my husband and I stayed at the Elora Mill Hotel. We HIGHLY recommend staying at the Hotel for the wedding weekend, the service was incredible and the room was super cozy! It helped us relax more instead of thinking of rushing home to change and getting everything to the venue on time. Plus, the Elora Mill Hotel staff REALLY do give you the "VIP" treatment/feeling. We definitely felt welcomed and relaxed throughout all the wedding chaos! When our wedding day came, my now husband and I was happy to wake up seeing each other in the morning and spent our last couple hours as fiance's and enjoyed breakfast in bed with our morning coffee's.
