The story of our wedding

Aaron and I are so thankful to our family, friends and vendors who made our wedding day perfect! We had a traditional Jewish Wedding on a Sunny September. Planning our own wedding was fun and quite challenging as well. To start the process, we were able to find a very nice wedding planner. We had a sit down and talk with her about our ideas on the wedding day. She gave us recommendations on venues as well as estimated budget, wedding timeline and a full month of communication with her. We decided to hire her only on the first part of the planning which is 7 months before the wedding day. After we made a decision to book Estates of Sunnybrook (Vaughan Estates) as our venue, Aaron and I handled the rest of the planning! From meeting all the vendors, chef tasting, cake tasting, printing and sending invitations, all wedding details were organized by my husband and I. It was a lot of work but we managed to save some money by doing that and most importantly we had fun doing all the work together. Our wedding was very special because all we wanted is to bring our family and loveones all together to celebrate us. My parents traveled all the way from Manila to Toronto for the first time. We are very happy to spent time with them and show them around our beautiful city. My husband and I are very thankful to Rabbi Streiffer from our Kol Ami Jewish Congregation for guiding us on our tradional wedding as well a being our officiant. We are also lucky to find amazing vendors. Our florist, photographer, videographer, DJ, hair and make up artist, they're all did an amazing job! A simple tip for planning your own wedding day, have a notebook, write down anything that you remember to do and always bring it everywhere you go.
