The story of our wedding

We booked our wedding less than 2 months out and have no regrets choosing a Monday wedding- yes, a Monday! It meant that we were able to get the venue we wanted, they reduced our minimum number of guests (we were having an immediate family only, micro wedding), and we were able to get all of the vendors (hair, makeup, cake, flowers, photographer) we wanted, because everyone was available. We figured if we did it on a Friday, family members would still need to take the day off, so what is the difference between a Friday and a Monday? The Glenerin Inn in Mississauga was the perfect venue. They had no hidden fees. The food was delicious, the grounds were gorgeous and well maintained, and the room was comfortable and newly renovated. We picked out our outfits less than 2 weeks before, and my 3 year old niece who was our flowergirl and I (bride) wore matching sparkle Keds sneakers. My 94 year old Grandmother and my husband's Dad acted as the witnesses on the marriage licence. Because the Glenerin Inn backs onto a forest, our nephews found a small snake and we included it in some of our photos. Since we had a lunch wedding, everyone was home in time for dinner and to relax. It was a perfect day!
