The story of our wedding

Abbas and I met in Spring of 2018 through a online dating website. Our first date I still remember to this day as it was so easy and we both immediately clicked. We officially started dating the beginning of July and moved in together March of 2019. We adopted our furbaby Sahara July 2019 who is truly such a joy in both of our lives everyday. We were blessed with purchasing our first home in September of 2020 and moved to Hamilton. Abbas surprised me with our engagement party the end of October 2020 and decorated our garage with a few of our closest friends and family. The COVID wedding planning began but with the challenges of the pandemic and numerous other weddings already delayed we decided to have a intimate wedding in our backyard with our immediate family of 12 people. We honestly joked when buying our first home that the backyard was so beautiful that we could get married in it. We sent out a virtual link for all of our extended family and friends from around the globe to join. We literally planned our wedding in about a month from the day we decided! I still cant believe we pulled it off with little to no details spared to still make it special. We worked with local vendors in Hamilton for our florals and catering. We went with a photographer from Toronto who sent us 2 amazing team members that spoke english and farsi for my in-laws. It was a perfect day and we wouldn't have changed a single thing of the way we decided to take our next step in life together.
