The story of our wedding

Where do I even begin... my fellow covid brides know how it's been lol. We started our journey off excited and full of magic. As 2020 took a serious turn we were forced to postpone. Because we were having our wedding at the lake (Sioux Narrows, ON) we had to first sign our papers in Manitoba if we wanted our best friend to marry us...so that's exactly what we did. With just our parents we signed our papers at a small park with the party at the lake to follow.

I got my dress from Grace Loves Lace in Australia. I was a little apprehensive ordering online, never trying it on but their team was absolutely incredible! I had no stress sending my measurements, communicating with their reps, or receiving my dress. My flowers were done by Deanna, owner of Deer Dutch, and photos by Xandra Photography. The lake is our happy place so we rented out a small cabin resort and had our closest friends and family share our special day with us. It was laid back with a camp vibe, we couldn't have asked for anything more <3
