The story of our wedding

It was pouring rain the day of.. and I mean pouring. It looked like there was zero hope for there to be any sun. Once we got out to the ceremony destination - Maple Dell Acres - the rain seemed to be slowing down and only spitting. We pushed back the ceremony by half an hour and decided to get married outside, rain or shine! The bridesmaids didn’t have umbrellas and neither did the the groomsmen but they were troopers and were willing to stand in the rain for us. Most of our guests had already brought umbrellas. As I walked down the aisle with my dad and umbrellas in hand it was still raining. As we said our vows the rain continued to slow down and the minute we signed our marriage license everything stopped. We put away the umbrellas and as the officiant pronounced us husband and wife, the clouds completely disappeared and the sun was shining, like out of a movie! The rest of the day was beautiful, the sun was shining and we were able to take photos. As we got our bride and groom pictures done, it started pouring again but we were off in some trees where we were slightly protected. Getting in the rain was well worth it, even if it did ruin my hair! It was just like something out of a movie. My fairytale came true!
