8 Sep, 2018The story of our wedding
My husband and I got married in Banff. As avid hikers, it just made sense for us to get married in the mountains. My husband asked me to be his girlfriend at Tunnel Mountain, so we decided to have our ceremony at Tunnel Mountain! It’s also ten steps away from where we had our reception, at the Wapiti Room at Buffalo Mountain Lodge. The Lodge is beautiful, it’s both rustic and cozy. Our guests stayed in the rooms at the Lodge and all raved about how they loved their stay. Kerri-Lynn, at Buffalo Mountain Lodge, was lovely to deal with the entire time and made sure our wedding day would be everything we hoped for. The service was amazing and the food was delicious, our guests loved our venue! For our photographer, we booked with Tricia Victoria. She was so much fun to work with and our wedding pictures were beautiful! For our videographer, we booked with Juan and Angie (formerly The Jar Photography). They are such a dynamic duo and are incredibly passionate about what they do, we couldn’t be happier with our wedding video! For our DJ, we booked with Hype! Entertainment and our DJ, Mike, could really read the crowd - I don’t think anyone sat down from that dance floor until the night ended! And as for our flowers, we booked with Dee Vine Petals. Our floral arrangements were beautiful, they really knew what flowers and which colours to pick to complement the bridesmaids' dresses. We can’t thank every one of our vendors for all the hard work they put into our special day and making it a dream come true. Our guests still talk about our wedding to this day and that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!
