The story of our wedding

Brandon and I met online in 2015 and we have been inseparable ever since. We got engaged in 2020 and decided to have a long engagement to wait out the pandemic and we lucked out with timing! We booked all our vendors years in advance to ensure we got the dream team and boy did we ever! I can't thank all of our wonderful vendors enough honestly. I joked with them saying I picked vendors I would be friends with but I really mean that. They were so personable, kind, funny and worked their butts off to make sure our day was so special. We got married at Hillside Acres in Camrose, AB and it was STUNNING. We received so many compliments that it was like a resort wedding. It was calling for rain all day but we only felt a few sprinkles and we really lucked out. Butterflies were flying all around our ceremony space and it was so magical. We allowed for drinks during the ceremony and had a cooler in the back to set the tone for the night we were planning. We had a cocktail hour with lawn games to keep everyone entertained while we got our photos done. We did separate entrances for our wedding parties and they were a huge hit. My husband and I entered to a pump up song then paused and went right into our first dance as we had everyone attention. We served a buffet with prime rib as we wanted people to eat however much they could and what they wanted. It was wonderful as we got to take the leftovers home as well! For our speeches we had the parents, best man, maid of honor and then our speech. We wrote out cards for every person there and when we were done our speech they got to open them and read why we are so thankful they were there with us. Our DJ was also our emcee and he was so talented. He had our guests dancing all night and they are still sore today. Our wedding was the most magical night and there is not anything I would change. We had incredible vendors, all our loved ones and I got to marry my best friend in the whole world.
